  1. There were runners on 1st and 3rd.
  2. Lulz, Robert Ford. "The good news is, Woods is not the tying run." I think Robert posts on this thread.
  3. Toronto is desperate for bullpen, try to get Loperfido back for Okert.
  4. He hasn't shown much in his 3 MiLB starts to show he's back to 2022 form. Getting anything useful from a guy in year one post TJ is a very rare occurrence.
  5. The pitching doesn't matter when the offense can't score runs. You are assuming a lot when you are expecting guys coming off significant injuries just automatically return to the lineup without any issues, especially with this training and coaching staff. We are now the division leader with the worst record in baseball. We are only 3.5 games away from missing the playoffs. We are 1-10 in our last 11 home games and 5-12 since sweeping the Dodgers. This isn't a team you commit future assets to make better.
  6. We just lost to two of the worst teams in baseball where both of those guys gave up 1 run in their starts.
  7. He'd also have to leave The Woodlands, that is a lot of commitment.
  8. He's right. That alignment was horrible.
  9. Then lose Valdez in the off-season for a single draft pick. They need to be serious about where this team is and trade him.
  10. I mean what do you guys expect. Victor Caratini is batting 3rd. In no way does a serious team bat Cararini 3rd. Fuck, he wouldn't have batted 3rd on the 2013 Astros.
  11. Nah, we need to be sellers. Framber could bring back a nice return.
  12. Nah, Okert has returned to the pitcher he has always been.
  13. After tonight the A's have hit 143 HRs, the Astros have hit 116.
  14. 100%, and now we are seeing the regression for all these relievers that have likely pitched over their heads all season. We are 29-18 over the last 2 months including tonight. When the pitching staff gives up 5+ runs the Astros are 2-13. When the pitching staff gives up 4-, they are 27-5.
  15. There are probably better options available sitting at home. Like David Robertson, who just signed with the Phillies.
  16. Fuck Arizona for tanking for us into believing this was sustainable. We need to be sellers, this team is going to fall apart over the last 2 months. Too many injuries, and you can always count on Espada to mismanage the bullpen moving forward.
  17. Good play by Matthews, saved 2 runs. Which might have been more than enough for this offense.
  18. Their pitching staff is horrible. Our top 5-6 pitchers are the best in baseball, but their lineup is easily better than ours, even if everyone is healthy.
  19. Yeah, if we can trade Walker in the deal for Correa, but we already have two DHs on this club in Altuve and Alvarez, but it's stupid to bring in a 30 year old that can't stay healthy and plays the same position as two of your better young guys. Go trade for O'Neil Cruz instead. He's a much better fit than Correa and his $100M+ still owed.
  20. Paredes and Pena are better and younger.
  21. Seattle getting Naylor.
  22. Trammell staring that down instead of running cost him a 2B. Don't understand why players are so fucking lazy in this generation. Just fucking run.
  23. No. Hulk Hogan has died.
