You think supporting a cease fire is supporting Hamas? You fucking moron, stop posting. Fuck off. You are literal trash.
I will go ahead and lump this stupid fucking post in with the drivel from statsman as well.
Well that was a measured response.

Without getting too religious, the story of Jesus (not the Jesus portrayed by the hard right) washing his disciples’ feet is an ancient tale of selfless love, humility, and service.
Now knowing that it’s funded by those Hobby Lobby fucksticks, I totally get @troph’s ire on the Super Bowl commercial thread. What’s the play there? A gay man sees a commercial with a priest washing a gay man’s foot and asks, “Wait, Jesus loves the gays?”, then goes on the He Gets Us website, stumbles on some right-wing fundamentalist Christian theology, and then suddenly decides to be not gay?

Look closer at the commercial - every oppressor is the one doing the Jesus like behavior. It was terrible from the get go.3 hours ago, South Austin said:Ah, I see that. I didn't notice during the first viewing because it took a few seconds to figure out what the hell was going on.
3 hours ago, Willfully Horn said:The ad reminded me of the current pope, and how he shocked conservatives by washing the feet of women. And non-Catholics. And prisoners.

At least David Green is open about the fact that he hates gays.
Fuckers.
The truth behind the ‘He Gets Us’ ads for Jesus airing during the Super Bowl
What they're selling:
What you're actually getting:
Also somewhat humorous and ironic is the use of INXS for the background music. Yeah the lead singer died by accidentally autoerotically asphyxiating himself. What would GOP Jesus have thought of that?

Well, you might have stumbled onto why the story is not being reported much by left wing outlets.
The story is being reported widely by the local news outlets as well as national "left wing" news outlets such as CNN. But continue to view this through a partisan lens, by all means.

Slightly off topic but not sure where to post this. Can we talk about the shadow campaign by Hobby Lobby magnate David Green?
"Christianity is all about serving your fellow man. Here, let me wash your feet while I take away your rights to medical care, equal treatment based on sexuality, and ship a bunch of you back to where you came from."

Some players would get kicked out of game for yelling at the coach in the game. Established players with a relationship with the coach get some level of a pass. Coaches today are often more of a partner with the long term players. In some leagues, the players can get a coach replace if the coach doesn't fit the players.

There are multiple NFL players saying they'd be kicked out of the league for bumping the head coach?
Well 1 is a multiple of 1.

I think my words were clear. Obviously the fact that Iraq and Afghanistan involved the invasion of American troops is a meaningful distinction. The lessons learned however wrt articulating and communicating to the American people clear goals and the unwind strategy are transferable to other situations, such as Ukraine.

I didn't consider his last response to be bad faith. Misguided and simplistic, perhaps. I can understand your disagreement with his opinion, especially given your personal attachment to and passion regarding this issue, but perhaps you might want to reflect on whether a kneejerk response like the last one was warranted.
