I'm more of a low country shrimp boil fan myself, but crawfish are good too.

Yep. Good stuff. Handmade fresh corn tortillas. Greatness.

Nice. Too far for me, though.
I tend to stick with basics--Central Market, Rudolph's or the basic supermarket.
Anyone been to the newish place on Ross? I keep meaning to go by there but I always seem to forget.

This may seem odd, but I think it's also nice have more casual/lower end options when you just one a couple rolls with some beer and sake. On that note I submit Oishii. Rolls are pretty cheap, but you can definitely still rack up a bill if you get into the special rolls and high end sushi/sashimi.
My daughter and her roommate are regulars there. (no pics)

Cigarz is also good for a quick pickup or delivery on the east side of town.

You need to try more burgers.
Says the guy who recommended Al Biernat's.
The Grape is where the Uncle Herky first debuted.
I miss Luscher's.

Just don't say his name twice more.

Comey talk not going away soon.

Come on, guys. Don't be fucking Juicys here.

Revolver Taco is good too. Right across the street from Pecan Lodge. Any one of those 3 are good choices. I also like Armoury DE. My neighbor's kid is either sous chef or now head chef there. Interesting menu (Hungarian slant).
I keep meaning to get to Braindead but haven't made it. Everyone I know who has been there really likes it, though.

Prego is dog food.
Sorry. That place is ass. -

I guess I'll be the one to say it. Who's up for Surly Open 18' at Mo Willy? Hopefully OCSpur wont show up and smoke everyone again. Perhaps a dickbutt trophy could be made?
@Schlong Connerymight have something to say about that.

Also, the Mexican place is called Wild Salsa. Couldn't remember it last night. It's pretty good. Owned by the same people as Chop House IIRC.
If you're wanting to stay in walking distance I would probably go with one of those. A few blocks further away is a Campisi's (not a destination place, more like a cafeteria IMO), and a couple of other places in Stone Street Walkway that I've not visited in at least two years (Sol Irlandes and the Woolworth).
If walking isn't an issue then there are a bunch of places in Deep Ellum you could visit, depending on what sort of food/vibe you want. Braindead Brewpub, Cane Rosso, Pecan Lodge, Revolver Taco, Armory DE, just to name a few.

Chop House is almost right across the street. There also is the Mexican place across from it on Main and St. Paul or one of the places in the new Statler. All easy walking distance.

Peticolas will be distributing in Austin for the first time in July. But only in July.
Still on tap only? -

Pretty sure I specifically called it
If you didn't I'm pretty sure I did quite some time ago. I'm sure as hell not going back to that other place to look for it, though.

no, you don't have a solid understanding of how this works.
He's just asking questions.
Edit: dammit, I try to get some work done and I'm 2 pages late with this.

Hey, it's a hot take from "Chrispy"!
He had to take a break from hearting all of the Trumpsters' posts to keep them green. All those clicks can be very tiring.

Well, you're in Austin, so that may be part of what you're seeing. Up here, even in what I would consider to be one of the most progressive neighborhoods in town (though it's turning into Park Cities East), there remains strong support.

There is no comparison.
I represented Perot years ago in connection with the Reform Party. Without revealing any privileged communications I can state that having spent considerable time with him in person there is no comparison.
Whether or not you agree with his policies, Perot genuinely injected himself into the political sphere because of a sense of patriotism.
