  1. Signed up. I’m from Canada, so this is now an international coalition of the willing.
  2. Sark has always been able to scheme his most dangerous playmaker open.
  3. Those aren’t staff depth charts where they’re listing players, they’re just observations by media guys about who takes drills in what order. It shouldn’t be surprising that the same (true backup) player doesn’t play both LT and RT in the same drill and therefore the walkons end up getting reps.
  4. Strong Western Ties > Polynesian Ties???
  5. Can’t run through contact if they can’t touch you.
  6. We had this debate as nauseam with LJH- there are a bunch of guys who are 6’3/6’4 200-210 and yet have zero chance of getting to 230-240 to play TE while keeping their athleticism. You can’t necessarily just add TE bulk to a guy regardless of frame.
  7. What makes sense is that Phaizon has told current recruits that he’s going to commit to Texas but the coaches are not willing to take him.
  8. What is the primary goal of a 17-year old kid? To look cool on social media and bang chicks. (Actually the second one is the goal, the first one helps him do it). Getting an uncommittable Bama offer helps him accomplish his goal every much as a “real” offer from a more selective school.
  9. He helped out guys named Vita Vea and Hau/oli Kikaha into the NFL. Safee to say he’s got some
  10. With this hire, this is currently a top-five staff in college football and with the right CB hire is arguably as good as any in the country. Sark backed up the big talk about who he could bring with him.
  11. Hey, we just got new Twitter follow information.
  12. I doubt Saban is feeling so altruistic for a team he recruits against for Texas talent and plays on the field the year after next.
  13. Your post is dumb in the opposite way that you think you’re being told.
  14. Worth going to about 34:45 on this video even if you don't watch the X's and O's prior to that. Pretty good insight into the guy just from those five minutes.
  15. When you hire coordinators with options in a hotseat/lameduck season, you have to overpay. Remember this shit?
  16. I am liking all the (apparent) hires so far, although they are running out of spots for an elite recruiter (assuming one isn’t already in the fold behind the scenes). One other thing that strikes me: If a) Sark has a couple of good-but-not-national-championship years and then b) Saban retires there’s a good chance we end up competing with Bama for his services from that point on.
  17. Sling not available in Canada #1. Hoping sportsurge updates soon.
  18. Yeah, I've prosecuted (in Canada #1) numerous "risk-of-HIV-transmission" cases, which have some similarities, and I would see anti-vax homicide prosecutions as being extremely difficult. You'd basically need some social media posting or something that proved the person was aware of the risk to others and engaged in the risky activity anyway. There's also some similarity to prosecuting drug dealers whose product is laced with fentanyl and ends up killing users. All these scenarios run into some problems with mens rea and the evidence that we typically have to prove it.
  19. Day one of quarantine: [me to my wife] Alright, this is among other things a new economic reality. Cash is king. We need to avoid spending any unnecessary cash so we can be prepared for whatever comes. Day whatever of quarantine: [I buy a $350 Dutch Oven]
  20. Shitty thing is it's still cold and snowy here, so cabin fever is even worse. And you can only cook moose so many different ways.
