  1. Honestly this post deserves a neg because it's another very thinly veiled attempt at equating speech critical of the nation state of Israel with antisemitism. That's not to even begin listing off all the reasons that the ADL is a dogshit org that no serious person would ever cite as a source for anything.
  2. Do we really need another lesson in why the ADL is not at all a credible organization? e: This is not to say antisemitism is not a very bad, very real thing that threatens Jewish people on a daily basis. It is. That doesn't mean that your open support for Gestapo operations against people exercising protected speech is any less insane.
  3. It's fake Not that this kind of shit is beneath those two dipshits
  4. "I hate Trump but I love his blatant Gestapo ops against people that make me feel feelings" is certainly a position to take. Once again, I weep for our education system.
  5. I don't think UT would consider Sampson right now but if he was, say, 10 years younger I think you'd be insane not to. Right now, he's clearly one of the best coaches in the business regardless. He's been to 4 straight sweet 16s, two elite eights, and a final four in the last 5 years.
  6. Lol. Get real. No one serious gives the slightest shit about that anymore. Sampson is a great coach that produces results. His only issue is being old.
  7. Sure, I think everyone here understands that, at least at a basic level. The issue at hand here is that equating anti-Zionist, pro-Palestinian liberation, etc. speech with supporting Hamas is a completely ludicrous conflation. However, that extremely flawed premise is exactly what is being used here by this administration (and the previous one, to a lesser degree) in a pretty naked attempt to muddy the distinction and suppress what should be protected speech. No matter what your position on Israel/Palestine, saying "Fuck Israel" or "Free Palestine" (or whatever you want to say in the opposite direction) should not get you arrested, deported, and/or black bagged by the state, period. This should not be a controversial thing to say. I don't think anyone here would argue that Hamas is a good actor or that support for Hamas is an acceptable position for anyone to take. Certainly, offering material support to Hamas in any way should be considered completely unacceptable, I wouldn't think a single person that posts on this site would disagree with that position.
  8. This is the guy @HellesBier was trying to convince us he was.
  9. These people do not differentiate. As far as the administration is concerned, protesting in any way in favor of Palestinian emancipation is support for Hamas, full stop. That's the end of it. The fact that the notion is patently absurd on its face and that the actions of ICE/DHS are illegal as fuck be damned. Don't forget that piece of shit Shai Davidai.
  10. Friend whose daughter is a member of JSA at NYU just texted me this
  11. I think we're probably a 3 seed due to non-con schedule. Unless we win the Big 12 tourney.
  12. It would save his job in my opinion, at least for a year, but seems quite unlikely and not a real thing to worry about
  13. Without looking you know this mf is white
  14. A perfectly fair perspective. We don't have to agree on the subject matter, but the bottom line is that protesting against Israel is not a fucking crime and shouldn't be treated as one.
  15. And by the way, if you think this shit is going to stop at pro-Palestinian green card/visa holders, you're kidding yourself. This is simply a test run for what they want to do to any person inside the US (citizen or not) that is critical of the administration.
  16. Hell, I told my cousin's stepdaughter the other day to not get involved in pro-Palestinian protests. Even though she's a full US citizen, her mom is from Azerbaijan and there is no telling what this administration will do to your family if you publicly protest against Israel. Her mom is also a US citizen, but Azerbaijan does not formally recognize dual citizenship and it is unclear what would happen if, say, the DHS were to deport her mom if she was arrested for protesting. What a fucking paragraph to type regarding US citizens, by the way, but this is the world we live in now. It's amazing to me that some of you (not referring to the person I am quoting) are seemingly on board with this administration flat out making peaceful protests against a foreign country illegal and/or straight up black bagging people that do so.
  17. Toppin wins Big 12 POY and NOY. Time to back that shit up
  18. And yet, you liked the post of the dipshit saying it was "good" that someone is being deported for speech that is protected under the law. Interesting.
  19. Try T-Mobile 5G Home Internet, I use it myself and it works about as well as a non-fiber connection can, and I live out in the boonies. Even if they say you're outside the service area, usually they will give you the equipment and let you try if you go into the store.
  20. For sure. I'm a big fan of Izzo, too. The haters are crazy.
  21. I don't think his intent was to accuse you of anything, probably just poor word choice.
  22. Read the article. They (both the school and the DHS) have no standing to do any of what was threatened and that's why both backed down when pressed by attorneys. It is 100% a scare tactic being used in order to silence constitutionally protected speech that the president doesn't agree with.
