  1. Atlanta has LOTR and Star Wars arrivals. KC, has Spicy, Jerked BBQ Ribbs, but did away with MMMM on the missed. Portland, MA has the famous Itawt, Isaw , Aputty, Cat, Ideed. DFW has a great one for one of it’s center controllers who routinely jacked up arrivals with Pleaz, Chimli, Jusst, Switch, Themm. I want to say an arrival in Naples talked about old people and diapers. The spellings are probably wrong, but you get the point.
  2. I think that’s a good start either way.
  3. Speaking mostly out of my ass I would suspect it would be correctly reading box counts, leveraged defenders, making good decisions on those reads and delivering the ball accurately and on time when said read calls for a pass. Sark wants to make a lot of his PA pass game look like it’s an RPO so it will be difficult to determine when it’s an RPO and when it’s a called pass if we execute it well. Sark’s end game is to get the defense to play man trying to stop the RPO game, and then start running crosses and various deep routes away from chasing defenders once the defense commits to it per a seminar he gave.
  4. I dunno, I haven’t rewatched the game in a bit, but I remember him dribbling the ball once, and basically having no time to do much of anything when the sacks came. Often in obvious 3rd and long situations. Card hits holes in the secondary better, Casey seems to be better at layered passes, and we haven’t seen enough RPO game to determine either way who’s better. Sark is a big believer in explosives, so he’s not looking for a drive the bus guy. Casey seems better at that off schedule give his ability to feather passes between defensive levels, but one of the two of them needs to do some on schedule stuff too.
  5. Louisiana, Pig and Rice. Then an undefeated run to final conference championship glory….
  6. I temper that with Card being handed the B team to play with and Casey’s penchant for throwing late to the flat.
  7. Low fares, cooped up for a year and Uncle Sugar is paying better than the normal job of many.
  8. It was him, a passel of brothers and his son. He has a home in Big Timber.
  9. Just take one of the snack carts and modify it Mad Max style, equip the FA’s with silver spray paint for their faces (not a few probably already have some) and make a few shiny and chrome runs at the offender.
  10. I took Keaton and his family from his home in Montana to California to get his name star on the walk of fame. Terribly nice people. Couldn’t help but see him wiping the spittle off of his compatriot with a ribbon of shame.
  11. “I see ah-fiffteen tousan cahs.” “I rike you. You-ah make me raff.”
  12. I would think being in command of a powerful warship, commanding flank speed, and blasting the rock flavor of your choice would appeal to most males.
  13. Unless there’s EMASWA installed.
  14. Our standard planning is 400lbs from engine start to TO. Sometimes dispatchers will add extra fuel anticipating long taxis or delays and when it doesn’t happen you’re sometimes over the maximum takeoff for the runway for the given day. With two engines running and maybe the APU as well it doesn’t take long to burn that gas.
  15. The trim of his sheets is strangely satisfying.
  16. Well, doctor, you’ll find that mindless chanting of stupid shit and rabid pride in all things athletics over academics is very much an OU mindset. They’ll fall right in line. I know it irks many, but it’s going to happen, and you can bet your ass the cameras will be poised to catch it.
  17. It must be a pretty shitty feeling going from confident head of a P5 conference trying to navigate an expanded football playoff to discovering that all the power players realize you have no vision and have taken matters into their own hands.
  18. I don’t give a shit about conference pride. My in-laws are all LSU and will cheer on conference mates all season long. They’re a little dismayed that I don’t support Big XII teams like they their SEC brethren. Still, I think it happens. And much like you have trouble finding anyone who was booing during Garret Gilbert’s final UT implosion, it was pretty obvious that 70-80,000+ plus were jeering what was happening. I think the same happens in Dallas. The average guy posting on the message boards is not the average fan. More than a few in the stands are just there to party, and are often well greased for the process. That’s just the UT side. You can count on 40,000 or so mindless inbreds doing it for OU.
  19. I don’t doubt it at all. First of all, it plays quite well with the OU crowd, and don’t think a bunch of rowdy, lightly inebriated 20-30 year olds on the UT side won’t join in. UT message boards are not UT fans at large.
  20. It’s going to happen at the Cotton Bowl in October.
  21. Lowell Versus the Volcano has a ring to it.
  22. So that answers that question. Reinforced concrete, and apparently several flat and straight and miles of it.
  23. And he was right to do so. I’m curious if the specifications submitted in 1950 something suffice for more of the modern combat jets beyond the STOL friendly A-10.
  24. I think it’s a good place to feature attractive females dancing in chaps.
