Possibly the best greens i've ever putted on. Certainly top 3 without question. Plus the history that place oozes, it was a hell of a day.

TSNP closed today at .1695, but the ask right now is at .23. That's a nutso spread - thus my question about 'actual' liquidity, RCR.

This great balancing information against the standard "it's a wild world out there with no regulation, why would you make investing harder than it has to be?" type articles that you can find on google. I appreciate it.

any thoughts on my earlier post about general risks / advice, RCRanger? I'm down to put some more on XMET even in the mid .0015s, but curious if there are things I should know before I jump in.

Oh, and to beat @DDD Dad to the punch, I also once four-putted from 25' to lose a significant amount of money for he and I to another surly poster. We were playing at a VERY nice club in Ft. Worth, and that was a costly lunch.

Everyone has this story :). I was playing in one of the big GCAmTour (RIP) tournaments at Streamsong in Florida. I woke up Saturday (1st round) and was really struggling. Got it around the first 10 holes ok, then game went completely away. Got it back and birdied 16, parred 17, and needed par on 18 to break 80. PIPED a fucking drive, caught the speed slot down the hill, had 152 to the pin, which is a fucking driving-range 8i. Straight-up skulled it long into the hazard, made double, 81. Breaking 80 with the game I had that day would have been massive. Oh well.

I've got a buy order in for XMET at .001, but it's refusing to drop below about .0014. May raise my limit this afternoon ...

Thinking of getting mo' deeper into the OTC world. Are there regulatory or individual-investor things I need to watch out for, other than the "caveat emptor" that these are non-regulated or less-regulated industries and thus carry the of risk just suddenly going to 0? Second risk I see is possibly not having buyers for shares I may own, due to market size (i.e. they're smaller exchanges with fewer buyers). I'm familiar with the OTC markets in broad terms, would love any second-level insight. Thanks.

Lol. Passed the news to a buddy. He replied "hell yeah, I'm in brother. Invested all the cash left in my account ... $35!" Ride or die, RDC. Let's do this. What other .0005-.001's are you watching?

Fuck it. I'm loving the r/m concepts. In on TSNP at .201 for a not-insignificant amount. Let's see $-land and I'll happily take the quick profits.

oh, and does Surly need to take up a collection for you to get some professional headshots done? The hardhat look went out of vogue in '96, pro.

2020 Presidential Election -- Biden v Trump: Sleepy Joe vs Dopey Don [Results begin on page 409]
Well, they were off in one of two ways ... either the Independent / Undecided logic was fucked, or the error bars were WAY too narrow. Take your pick.

Bijan Robinson is special
I mean, sure, but slowing him down when he's got the hot hand is sort of counter-productive to actually getting him TO the league.

God this game wears me out sometimes. Played Grey Rock from the white tees today with my dad. It's a good exercise, because I need the practice hitting irons. I've been in a serious free-fall over the last six months. So today, what do I do? I proceed to hit 16 greens (17 if you count the double with a ball OB, the second ball was GIR). And 37 putts. SMOOTH little 74. Iron play was way, way better tho, so i'll definitely take it. Just frustrating to not get anything to go in. I counted 9 putts inside of 15' today for birdie or eagle, not one of them even lipped out (although two died center-cut, but short).

My vote would be that they bulldoze #18 on clay for the putting course Haha seconded. That hole blowz.

real grass would never work at TopGolf, but I'd love to see someplace with a decent amount of land try it - maybe Clay/Kizer, who already have lights in place, and a short course requiring maintenance. They could take the last ~20 yards of the range, and bulldoze the fake practice green on the short course. Together you could put 12-14 really good holes on a meandering, real-grass putting green complex. Charge me $20 for unlimited play, $10 for an hour.

I"d pay well to be able to play legit mini-golf in a topgolf-like setting. Well-maintained turf, holes laid out in a realistic way, games that can match golfers and non-golfers (like the OG topgolf product). Find a way to capture the "expansive putting course / 19th hole" feel from places like Pinehurst (the Cradle) and Bandon (the punchbowl), and it could work. I'm not sure how to run the business, but I'd pay for a quality experience for certain.
