In the end she fucked up royal and a man is dead.  I’d be happier if she ends up suffering some consequences Â
Â
Well she lost her job and has to live the rest of her life knowing she killed someone. How many more consequences does this poor woman need to endure? - Defense counsel, probably

Two scenarios so far are plausible. He got busted running around or he doesn't want to be on FB so she puts his name on there so he can be tagged by family for shit he couldn't care less about.Â
Â
This is kind of my account. We each have our own, but I don’t log in for anything other than researching people for work. The wife deals with pictures of the kids, responding to family, and other shit that I wouldn’t do otherwise. Haven’t made a post of my own in 5-10 years. Never cheated, don’t give a shit what anybody sends to me.Â

And all this self-defense shit.. got damn that would be a scary precedent that someone can walk into your house and meet all the elements to walk after they killed the home owner.

Now read those two definitions and tell me which one her crime falls under? I say the second.
Sounds like second-degree murder if you wanted to use those definitions for some odd reason. “Malice aforethought” does not take long .

Well, at this point chances go down during the day, so the earlier the better(?). But right now it doesn't look as good as Wed-Fri. 30% chance of rain early in the day, going to about 20% by dinner time.
My guess is you might have a few hopeful moments, but all in all this doesn't seem to be an outdoor "washout" day per current forecast.-

No complaints here. Yard looks great, water bill looks great, temperature feels great. Doesn’t get any better than that

My dogs sure thought the world was going to end. Around 7 or 8 last night they decided there was no way in hell they were going outside. It was still fairly sunny. That was pretty unsettling. Only ended up with .5 inches, and nothing serious.Â

I saw last night on NBC (national) news where a vet shot himself / committed suicide last week in the VA hospital off of Riverside.  In front of a lot of patients.Â
And the story went on to detail how 20 vets a day are committing suicide in the United States.  A day. Â
Yes, tar and feather for a thread derail but my jaw really dropped when I heard that number.Â
Â
Not really that surprising if you think about it. How much would you love your job if one of your primary responsibilities including killing your clients' best friend in front of them?

I normally owe a few thousand dollars. I expected to get brutally fucked this year since my firm vastly exceeded expectations, and I wasn't making quarterly payments to account for it. I get a big check at the end of every year (to account for the tax liability on my shares of the firm) that I've always had to hand straight over to the man. I don't know how it happened, but I confirmed with two different CPAs that I fell into the absolute perfect spot with regard to a few of the new tax laws. I'm keeping the entire check (about $35K) plus a $700 refund. Suckas!
* Fingers crossed my CPAs know what they're doing!

Taxable value/tax, yes. Appraised value, no.
Â
To clarify TH’s phrasing so you can understand your tax bill... Appraised value can be whatever the hell they want to say it is. Assessed value is what they actually tax you on, and it’s this number that cannot increase more than 10% with the HS exemption. So if your appraised value went up 20% this year, your assessed value will only go up 10% (and your assessed value will go up another 10% next year unless they reduce your appraised value in 2020).

Amazing. I swear I have a secret admirerer at the CAD. I only got hit with a 0.5% increase in Shady Hollow. And there have been multiple sales on my street of houses smaller than mine going for almost $200k more than my appraised value.Â

Yes.  I have family that thought it was crazy when I said I didn’t want an Alexa because it was spying.  That was a couple years ago.  It’s since come out that Amazon, Facebook, and other companies are listening.  Which should have been obvious to anyone who pays attention to those companies’s business models.
Do you also choose not to have a cell phone?

So it’s basically a loan that you pay back based on your income. Gubment loans have a pretty similar option. Not all that revolutionary.Â

Well shit. I hope it doesn't envelope the Earth within those 55 million years. We'd really be in for a surprise.Â

Missed that. A “but Hillary” that’s actually relevant. And it undercut Cruz at the same time. I can dig it
