On one level I like the idea of punching nazis. Although I feel there should be a better way to wage a culture war - which this clearly is.

IMO to win this culture war, the hearts/minds of  the Fox News viewers would need to be swayed and/or they need to be minimized. Somehow we need to keep the number of people who read breitbart or watch tucker Carlson from growing. And ideally get those viewers to recognize that when they see a piece on an immigrant/non-white doing something terrible, it is a news piece solely intended to inflame their identity and is not a true reflection of our world.

Which increases with every Harley Davidson type plant that closes so that it continues the endless cycle of idiots blaming others for their failed leadership decisions.  And the only thing that will fix it is less education, more prayer and definitely more guns.

Fucking cocksuckers.  "Made in USA" has been their singular identity for their entire existence.

Of those 800 losing their jobs in KC, I wonder how many are/were trumpkins?  700 at least, right?

Feel sorry for any at the factory that wasn't a Trumpkin because they just got shat on, twice.  They all did but the Trumpkins don't seem to mind it.

No Trumpist here.  I voted for him in the hope that he would pick conservative Justices for the Supreme Court and other courts. It’s one of the few promises he’s kept so I’m ok with that.  I agree there are many things detestable about him. But he was fairly elected your President and nothing of real substance has been found yet to implicate him in anything.  I doubt anything will, but y’all keep fucking that chicken.  This is turning into Democrat’s Benghazi.

This disproves the last sentence and pretty much any thought that was/is/will be regarding your posts: https://www.justice.gov/sco.  If not one more thing is added to this, which includes all Trump's affair payoffs which nobody can deny, then this is a whole lot more than anything the Republicans have gotten in 30+ years of investigating the Clintons.  Or just enjoy Trump pushing pedophiles to run for public office so that you can believe he is using a different logic for his picks for Justices or judges.  I'd say think before you type but what's the use?  That chicken flat wore you out.

That brother worked with Manafort and failed to disclose lobbying on behalf of foreign governments, which his former firm since amended their FARA registration about ECMU(Ukraine). I suspect he informed against Manafort to keep from being indicted? Anyway, Trump seems to be saying that he'll take down others on the Democratic party side that played the same game too. And I'm fine with that.

Me too but they've been investigating the Clinton's for 30+ years.  As Sessions said, there's no there there.

this has been spoken many different ways and it always gets omitted because it doesn't help the Republican cause.  Democrats should take a page from the NRA and Republican propaganda play book and chant this every chance they get with the media.

Secret FBI Source for Russia Investigation Met with Three Trump Advisers During Campaign

The professor took the opportunity to strike up a conversation with Carter Page, whom Trump had named a few months earlier as a foreign policy adviser.

But the professor was more than an academic interested in American politics — he was a longtime U.S. intelligence source. And, at some point in 2016, he began working as a secret informant for the FBI as it investigated Russia’s interference in the campaign, according to people familiar with his activities.

There is no evidence to suggest someone was planted with the campaign. The source in question engaged in a months-long pattern of seeking out and meeting three different Trump campaign officials.

For years, the professor has provided information to the FBI and the CIA, according to people familiar with the matter. He aided the Russia investigation both before and after special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s appointment in May 2017, according to people with knowledge of his activities.

The FBI formally opened its counterintelligence investigation into Russia’s efforts to influence the 2016 campaign on July 31, 2016, spurred by a report from Australian officials that Papadopoulos boasted to an Australian diplomat of knowing that Russia had damaging material about Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

The professor’s interactions with Trump advisers began a few weeks before the opening of the investigation, when Page met the professor at the British symposium.

The conference was held days after Page had traveled to Russia, where he had delivered a speech at Moscow’s New Economic School that publicly criticized U.S. foreign policy.

Page had been on the FBI’s radar since at least 2013, when the FBI caught two accused Russian spies on a wiretap discussing their attempts to recruit him. Later in 2016, Page became a surveillance target of the FBI, which suspected him of acting on behalf of the Russian government — an assertion he denies. Page has accused the government of abusing its authority by unfairly targeting him.

goes on to say he met with Clovis and Papadopoulos. Pretty sure the sources identity will become known now more than just the Post with this writeup.  I've abbreviated some of the above so people can read the article.

That is exactly my first instinct.  As a parent you don’t ghost the entire coaching staff especially guys like Carrington assisting.  It’s 100% hush money.

Felt this way late last year when they got randoms to visit and commit.

It’s going to be so great when we find out the informant in the campaign was Jeff Sessions.

I hadn't thought about that.  I always figured Trump, Kellyanne and other misc staff were good for leaks but Sessions would make sense since he's the brightest bulb in the lot.  Bright enough to recuse himself.

Fuck you, I’m sick of the “thoughts and prayers” bullshit and “there’s nothing we could have done.”

We have a serious radicalization problem in this country (more specifically Texas and Florida) and if we don’t call it out and confront it head on, there will be more of these.

The lone nut gunman bullshit is getting old.

Was the gunman Muslim because I'll only get triggered if he's Muslim. Otherwise, multiple rounds of prayers and condolences to everybody involved fixes everything.

Are you suggesting the end justifies the means?

You're asking somebody that is fine with selling out the country about what a different alternative would look like and you expect a rational answer?  You may as well ask Putin since he bought the Republican party.  Look to threaten N.K. on any front--Putin will be there to offer NK his complete support. Same for Iran, Syria and any other country that he feels will empower him while undermining the US.  And they're fine with it.  They argue for every consideration for Trump while unwilling to grant any for a Democrat.

The best answer right now is that gas is $3 a gallon here and it's not even summer yet and nothing is going to stir more anger than rising prices.  Transportation costs will rise and affect the cost of food, travel, and other basic necessities.  And who the hell knows what will happen with Trumps awful tariffs.  They'll break the shit out of everything and then maybe it'll get fixed by a Democrat which if prosperous enough will bring more apathy and memory loss from the general populace to elect another Republican idiot to repeat the whole process again.

Ah, the ol' divisive abortion issue.  You can always count on that one to rile folks up.

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration plans to announce on Friday a new policy barring Planned Parenthood and other reproductive health organizations from providing or mentioning abortions at any facility that receives federal family planning funds, according to two White House officials and others familiar with the matter.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/17/us/politics/trump-funding-abortion-restrictions.html

If we know anything about impotus, it's that he cares only about himself, but is deeply insecure and possesses the emotional stability of a 15-year old girl.  And that he telegraphs his future transgressions by first creating a vacuum borne of demonizing someone or something else for that transgression.  News of Trump paying for abortions can't be too far around the corner.

Trump didn't think of this himself.  He was advised to use this as a distraction and way to rally his base.  Trump's not going to give one thought to abortion.

I am firmly of the opinion that there are enough dumbshit NRA type 40 YO angry white losers who will try to turn a Trump impeachment or resignation into guerilla war.  I hope they prove me wrong.  It's not all olds in nursing homes, not by a long shot.

listened to an interview on NPR of a guy that lost three cousins to mining mishaps but still voted for Blankenship because he "wanted an honest crook." There's no fixing stupid. There's a write up as well in The Hill.

I must admit, I’m getting kinda burned out on Trump Russia news.

He can't stop lying and each time adds more to the extensive list of bullshit this unchecked administration creates.  The lies are like sand in an hourglass that's attached to a beach by a funnel which never gets flipped.  At some point, the hourglass just gets buried by sand.

    Meh.

Acting like you have balls AFTER the fight is over is him acting like that asshole friend of yours -- you know the guy....he was nowhere to be found when the shit was hitting the fan and you were fighting for your life in that bar with a bunch of drunk Sooners who wanted to start shit.  But once you all ended up back at the car, battered and worn out, he was full of piss and vinegar: "Man, those guys were LUCKY I was in the bathroom taking a dump the whole time -- damn those hot wings I had at dinner!  I'da kicked ALL their asses if I'da been out there!"

Bravery after the battle is over isn't bravery at all.

I'm looking all over this country for one. fucking. leader....with a goddamned pair of balls.  Haven't found one yet.

well, we had one and he was promptly sacrificed even though he literally asked for an investigation.   I really liked Frankin.
