No another friend got into it with the idoit dad that left the 3 year old. There were probably 75 kids at the pool, there were two lifeguards on duty, so the stupid fucker figured it would be ok to leave his son. The friend told the dad that she was calling CPS. It was a huge ordeal. So bad, that the guy will probably need to sell his house and move away. Being a realtor, I gave him my card.

Loved those oldie programs. My uncle graduated in 1957, went to all the games and saved the programs for me. I wished to God I still had them.
Going back and re-reading this makes me feel old and sad. My uncle passed away 8 years ago, his family never permanently leaving Austin. He had 2 sons older, 1 younger and 1 the same age as me. Whenever we visited he always made sure to pay attention and spend time with me going over all things Longhorns. Sure miss them good ole days...

Well, my eccentric brother is still using our late dad’s 1997 Saturn SL2 sedan with 370,000 miles on the clock.
(of course it has had two engine rebuilds and now an entire engine replacement, not to mention it is on its 3rd transmission). Not me, no transmission work either.

I started going to games about 64, I guess we I was 6. Two things always made the games good at home. One was being able to see guys down under the stands when they came out onto the field and then back in after the game. At that point the dressing rooms were under the west side bleachers and the Horns entered and exited the field around the 50 on that side. The other thing was those programs. I still have a few left somewhere, but really wish I had saved more. I also wish someone would do a collection of them online somewhere. Again, you are talking about appealing to a 6 year old.
That's back in the day when every little cafe had a Cowpokes calendar at the register, and you could buy Aggie Joke books in convenience stores. Saturday mornings were sacred because that was the only time you had 3 hours of uninterrupted cartoons and seeing those program covers put Bevo on the same hero level as those heroes in the comic books. And vice versa for the anti-heroes, like the bears and owls and aggies. Very roadrunner and coyote in retrospect I guess.
Loved those oldie programs. My uncle graduated in 1957, went to all the games and saved the programs for me. I wished to God I still had them.

I think Ford reliability is pretty decent these days. But, the Bronco is not only a new model but a close to entirely new platform, so it's going to be buggy.
That said, now that just about everyone but Toyota is going to small-displacement, direct-injected, turbocharged everything for fuel efficiency, reliability is going to take a hit.
I've had great luck with all of my Fords, both professionally and personally. My current beater, an '05 F-150 Lariat currently has 265,000 miles and the only thing done to it is change an 02 sensor, a tune up and a a brake job. I wished they all performed like that one.

Ended up being closer to $15k bc I replaced the filter system, added some additional rock wall thing, and had him tear out the framing for the deck and reorder because he used sealed wood instead of pressure treated and I wanted all pressure treated wood.
We just used it for the first time this weekend and the extra space was definitely worth it, happy to start getting some payback from the investment. One thing about building or upgrading a pool, it's like a woman going to buy 1 single thing at a dept. store...you always wind up getting more as the job progresses.
We started out at $22,000.00 for our our pool....and wound up at $45,000.00, and couldn’t be happier.

Amazing...just watched aggy program, "The Pulse". Elkho only had about 30 seconds screen time total. Of course if I were in charge, I'd want him seen as little as possible also. Their spring practice crap. How pathetic.

I always grab a pack to go with my brisket
Back before Earl became an Oiler, an ice house by the shop sold those hot links sold 2/$2 with 2 slices of bread for breakfast. afterwards they were ,1/$2, the seasoning was re-worked, and sold out every day. Original recipe was best. The old greasy, spicy links were the best...ate about a zillion of of those hangover cures.

All set to get my MIL’s pool fixed up. Gonna replaster with quartzscape, resurface the cool deck. Do some maintenance like update the main drain to use the 2 round drains, install new jets and plastic, install a new handrail on the main steps. Also gonna build a 10’ x25’ deck with a metal roof that hangs over the edge, it will require 2 dead trees removed to build the deck.
Total quote is 6k for plaster/pool work, 2k for cool deck resurfacing, and 4 k for the deck and the metal roof. Total = 12k
Does that sound like a reasonable deal?Sounds very good.

Never did get to see aggy sprig game yesterday, how hilarious was it? Is this their year, or next year? Is the sleeping giant still sleeping? Inquiring minds and what not...

RR ties are heavy as shit. Yer gonna need structural support in your ceiling to carry the weight probably. I'd look at something without the weight issues first.
Darned sure don't need creosote in the house either.
