  1. Pics are awesome but I can't ever get through the whole set without the page reloading and having to start all over at pic 1. Is there a way to view them without having to constantly hit the "10 more" button?
  2. Dude still should have caught that 4th down pass tho.
  3. Yup. And the inverse is what I wonder about. Yes, Arkansas and LSU I'm looking at you. People always scoff at the idea of them becoming member numbers 11 and 12 but how would it not benefit all parties? If auto qualifiers are in play then this move makes a ton of sense to me. And in a perfect world, we'd punt Baylor to allow for Nebraska's return and the BIG could then drop Rutgers to get down to 12 teams. Lastly the B12 and SECSECSEC could then swap WV and Mizzu.
  4. So since '08 keeps coming up let's not just talk about who's in the top 8 and who isn't but let's also talk about deciding conf champs absent CCGs. Tech's blowout loss made it easy to eliminate them but it was still mucked up because OU went over Texas - or was it? If Tech got dinged for the loss, makes sense for OU to get credit for the 42 point victory, right? Yet everyone hated that outcome because Horns won head-to-head. If margin of victory doesn't matter, what should be the criteria for breaking ties? Which data point is most important? Let's fast forward... It's the fall of 2019 and CCGs are extinct. How shall we decide the conf champs?
  5. The Red Sox can never play the Yankees in the World Series even if they are the two best teams in MLB. The Bears can never play the Packers in the Super Bowl even if they are the two best teams in the NFL The Warriors and Lakers can never play in the NBA finals even if they are the two best teams. Is this a good thing or bad? Should the AFC vs NFC, the AL vs NL, and the East vs West be done away with? So to expand on the strong division vs weak division CCG argument I'd be in favor of taking it a step further - If this playoff expansion goes forward, I'd like to see provisions where multiple teams from the same conference are all on the same side of the bracket. No more Georgia vs Bama for the title. 😎
  6. We do. Have you ever heard of Alabama?
  7. If CCGs are done away with to make room on the calendar for the 1st round, then additional tie breakers might be needed to determine conference champions - and thus the incentive/need to have a decent OOC schedule
  8. no Neil Brown no Seth Littrell no Jim Leavit no Dana Holgerson no any of the names that were said to be better hires than Matt Wells

  10. Something to think about for the playoffs - all 3 Chiefs losses have been night games.
  11. lol but I think they blew kisses to the crowd as they walked out of there with the W
  12. Chiefs Oline pretty much blew chunks tonight. But Rivers was clutch city in taking advantage of KC's dumbassery. I can see how he competed 25 straight earlier this year - he is accurate as hell.
  13. Nice decision by KC to punt from LA's 40 - Chargers marching right down the field
  14. B12 refs
  15. I think there has to be a realignment component to it. I agree with those who have stated it previously and I too would like to see uniformity among the leagues - same number of teams, same schedules, formats etc. etc. - I'd prefer 12 teams if CCGs are used and 10 teams if they are not. But either way, the Blue Bloods are gonna have to decide that it's ok to remain spread out and stop trying to consolidate all the time. And therein lies the rub - is the goal to provide a more equitable playoff format or is the goal to maximize conf affiliation, grant $$$, and market share. Why not both? Well, if it were so easy to do we wouldn't be having this discussion as it would already be happening. But as it is currently, only 1 conference is checking all those boxes.
  16. If you believe in God then yes you believe in the devil. If you believe Angels then yes you believe in demons. If you believe in good the yes you believe in evil. My answer to OP is yes.
  17. It's easy to say "WTF, Tech, how did you lose with this guy?" But watching him yesterday got me to wonder that perhaps Tech sucking so bad actually made him better.
  18. I cannot "like" those pics enough!! Those are outstanding!!
  19. Gotta say, this final journey by train is pretty awesome!!
  20. THAT's an amazing photo!
  21. Awesome!! Just absolutely outstanding!!
  22. was in a hurry and left a few things out... ooc isn't exclusively from pool of teams 81-128 full 9 game round robin for conf schedules ooc sos is possible conf champ tie-breaker
  23. (( Realignment talk not going away )) We plugin the way back machine of yesteryear and the top 80 teams form eight 10 team conferences. Currently 64 teams in P5 conferences. Maybe they are all top80, maybe they are not. But the additional 16 teams allows for enough wiggle room that they probably would. 8 Champions. 8 team playoff beginning on current ccg weekend. Semis continue on NYs weekend. Final one week later. Teams 81 -128 are the ooc teams and get to play their own post season tourney.
  24. We probably won't witness another like him in our lifetime. Pure class all the way.
