  1. We'll make the 'Cats wish they were roaming the mean streets of Springfield, Ohio.
  2. Brown has great speed. Figured he'd score once he stayed in bounds. But hopefully they get a TD anyway.
  3. Unless we turn it over to them about four times, we'll win by 20-plus. We have more weapons than Ole Miss.
  4. He's been interfering all day. Occasionally they call it. That whole defense is in trouble against a team with several weapons.
  5. Ole Miss isn't nearly as good as advertised. They can't legally cover even one receiver for UK, much less what Sark would unleash on them.
  6. Home team has been dodging bullets so far. Nearly lost the opening kickoff and should have been flagged for end zone DPI a moment ago. But Kentucky looks as witless as its head coach, so I don't see an upset brewing.
  7. In a perfect world, this pedestrian Miami team somehow lucks into a playoff run against better teams throttled by injury, opt-outs and dysentery, only to meet Texas for all the marbles. We then beat them by 45 as Heisman winner Quinn Ewers outgains Cam Ward 485-102 through the air. The end.
  8. Ryan Watts sends greetings.
  9. Would we beat Miami by three scores? At least.
  10. How about we shank a bunch of serves to make this a real nail biter? Bad.
  11. These "Reed Rowdies" really are a bunch of doorknobs.
  12. Let's light this beautiful burnt orange candle and burn down B/CS. It's go time.
  13. We've already proved it's not hard to keep from sweeping the White Sox. 😡
  14. Doesn't appear that Neris was the designated driver, either.
  15. By recent Houston standards, we've played a lot of forgettable baseball this season. Fortunately, everyone else in the AL West has played even more of it. And there are no super teams in either league, though there are quite a few individuals having monster years. So if Alvarez is OK and we get a bit more from our role player bats and Pressly, we might do some serious damage.
  16. Hope you're right. Minnesota also sucks. Other than maybe the loser of the race for the East, I don't see any of the AL's WC candidates going on the kind of run Arlington or Arizona did last year.
  17. Exactly. Since roughly when they lost Pasquantino for the season they've had a big dropoff in run production. Hard to fathom, but we now look like the 1927 Yankees in comparison. As much as I'd like to face KC, I really doubt they make it in. They finish with the Braves, who of course will be giving it all they have.
  18. They'll call their 7-5/6-6 the equivalent of 11-1/10-2 in the BDF and actually believe it.
  19. Well played tonight. Congrats to the team.
  20. Last September we stumbled around and won the West mainly because two other teams stumbled even more at the end of the month. But you can't sit back and wait for your rival to implode...especially when you're playing them. Go win this thing.
  21. Those numbers are obviously great. But as 2 of the 18 losses have come since noon Sunday, with the bullpen giving up 12 runs in the process, fans are still going to be on edge as we try to close out the division. Especially with 44 still unavailable. Framber really needs to be special again today, and some bats had better step up to help Yainer. Seattle pitches too well to make this easy
  22. Gbend, don't break.
