  1. Blend their rosters and we win by 40.
  2. Prissy milkmen leading swaying masses of skinheads through indecipherable chants while disinterested maroon mercenaries sleepwalk through another loss is just such a perfect aggy tradition. I hope they never change.
  3. If spotting him that kind of lead at home against a cellar dweller isn't enough to get a W, I'm not sure what will be again. He's hanging on by a thin, thin thread.
  4. Listen, man. Nobody walks into The Swamp in daylight and comes out with a win. I mean, unless they're playing Florida.
  5. Despite no longer following the Falcons too closely (though I live only about an hour from Atlanta), I quickly began to wonder if Smith had damning leverage on someone in that organization. The only alternative is to just accept that Arthur Blank is a far less flamboyant Jerry Jones. He's made so many dreadful choices for so many years.
  6. Are you Ken Giles?
  7. From the front porch here in the Georgia mountains.... TEXAS!
  8. Four straight bunts to him would plate the winning run. But we could never get four bunts down.
  9. It's so easy to steal this year, even Judge has done it 10 times.
  10. Guess I'm just way out of the loop, but I'm shocked Georgia Tech's class is ranked #2. What gives?
  11. I'm not saying 60/60 is out of his reach. Maybe he'll push for it.
  12. In other news, Seattle just missed the rare TOOTBLAN trifecta: baserunners wiped out on idiotic plays in three straight games. Yankees still with a chance to sweep, but down 3-2 after 7.
  13. Regularly waxed by Harbaugh
  14. More excusable than the previous night's idiotic attempt to steal home, but still amazingly stupid. I guess Servais wasn't their only problem. Yet somehow they're still pretty comfortably holding off Arlington for second place. Glad we're in a division of dunces.
  15. Nice to deflate that crowd after they'd finally managed a glimmer of hope. Always fun to crush Baylor in any sport.
  16. They of course have a long, embarrassing history of cringeworthy videos.
  17. A really slipshod performance by the officials (onsite and in NY) made what was already a crazy game even wilder. Can't recall ever having players from both sides angry about the same HBP call. Profar's indignation at the end suggested he was more into being the hero than winning. Was a miracle for us to escape with a W. Made the Eagles-Falcons ending look routine.
  18. I read that on Texags and concluded it was a lot of words to say, "I hope that team in Austin isn't as good as everyone with eyes can see it is."
  19. Here at 1 a.m. in Georgia, I'm quite happy to be shutting it down with a W. Didn't look like it would happen.
  20. In college football, nonstop commercials are the issue. In baseball, it's the constant umpiring "discussions." Both are awful...but only the latter actually seems to be affecting the game itself. Fix it.
  21. Yep. We know the answer to that question. I'm not blaming Hader for giving up a WP after that officiating boondoggle. I'm blaming Pressly for throwing meat to put Hader in that position.
  22. Anyone still defending this guy as a high-leverage option has a curious sense of reality. I mean, we're trying to win, right?
  23. Our cutting-edge medical team started getting suspicious when leeches didn't help.
