  1. I understand why maybe some people felt it was a good idea, but in hindsight, I think allowing the league to start scheduling Tech-UT and Tech-OU both in Lubbock and then both away in alternating years when the Big 12 reformed as a ten team conference was a big mistake. That transition was, of course, made by allowing OU two consecutive home games against Tech (in 2010 and 2011).
  2. Negged for using the term "nothingburger".
  3. Traditions never die...so here are some offensively ugly, non-traditional uniforms.
  4. Its not guaranteed, but probably so.
  5. I'm a Tech fan, so I can't really see this from an outsider's perspective, but it's almost certainly worse for UT fans and fake army aggy. That's also not to mention that many of the worst atrocities Tech fans have been accused over the years have been fabricated by traveling gomers eager to distract from their team's failures in Lubbock.

  7. They look like Akron when they get to play a Thursday night game on ESPN.
  8. I hope you're being sarcastic.
  9. Just switched over; this should be good. ISU sporting stupid gratuitous all blacks.
  10. I'm a Tech fan, but the history of these guys is not good. Hopefully Card is not another spoiled dickhead.

Right, Modell Law, and that was my thought too, i.e. they'd probably win a court case, but didn't want to go to court in the first place.

I can only assume MLS thinks the Rooney Rule might cause them problems after all.
  13. The Tech-OU game this season is in Lubbock.
  14. They'll be the best 3-3 team in the country.
  15. These are the kind of posts that you should really save until you know your team has actually lost.
  16. TTU-Norman taking it on the chin thus far.
  17. So, your political decisions are based entirely on politicians' personalities? What do you think of Trump's policies or the laws he's signed off on? Do you even care?
  18. Dumbfucks in Montana have more say than people in California, NY and Texas. That's the point.
  19. https://www.vox.com/2018/9/5/17822784/supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaugh-hearing-executive-power Kavanaugh’s views on executive power have been among the most contentious aspects of his record because of a 2009 Minnesota Law Review article suggesting that a sitting president should not be subject to a criminal investigation until after Congress has impeached him and removed him from office. He also suggested that the indictment of a sitting president would be exceedingly burdensome. “I believe that the President should be excused from some of the burdens of ordinary citizenship while serving in office,” Kavanaugh wrote in his 2009 piece. “We should not burden a sitting President with civil suits, criminal investigations, or criminal prosecutions.” Kavanaugh also noted that the “indictment and trial of a sitting President” would “cripple the federal government.”
