Nope. I think he's one of our two best safeties right now, which is in and of itself an issue.
Yes, yes that is an issue and why he needs to be upgraded over via the portal most likely. Sadly, you are correct in he is probably one of the two best on the roster which kind of baffles me.

I quickly counted four safeties that should be encouraged to move on, which is roughly half of the current room.
Was Taaffe one of them because to get that defense elite he needs to not play anymore or only in garbage time. I know he has gotten some INT’s but man his missed tackles and bad angles hurt more than help. Someone better paired with Williams would help a lot on the back end of that defense.

If Stoops is the hire, Elijah Robison has his work cut out for him to hold the class and team together. You know the portal will be just billowing with aggy players.
If 4 or 5 of those players portal to UT and we win a championship next year does A&M get to hang a banner at their stadium since ex Aggies helped win a title?

All this Stewart to the portal talk is great but who on that A&M defense is a possibility to portal and come to UT? I would love some of those veteran DL they have or a veteran safety but not sure if those are realistic possibilities.

There is no situation where an SEC or BIG CCG loser goes in over Texas if we win out (or Oregon if they win out). Yeah, they have let CCG losers in in the past, but under different circumstances.
I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Ohio State plays a really close game at Michigan and barely loses, the asshat pundits will be saying both are two of the best teams in college football and both deserve to be in the playoffs. Same could be said for a Bama close victory over Georgia. You will suddenly hear, both deserve to be in. Look at the great game we just watched and UGA and Bama are definitely two of the top 4 teams. Not saying it’s right but the committee has screwed this up before so why stop now. I figure a Final Four of Michigan, Bama, UGA and Ohio State is what some folks would argue for.
Oh, and Oregon is beating up on a bunch of bad teams and has only played one good team, Washington, and lost that one. I find it interesting that the committee would throw out head to head (UT versus Bama) and SOS (UT versus Oregon) and just go with the eye test. It wouldn’t shock me but it’s fucked up.

Like the clear hold Philly got away to score their only TD?
I didn’t say they don’t make bad calls against both teams and I could give two shits who wins this game but when a DL blows through the middle heading to the QB and the OL tackles him from behind and the ref is standing there the ref is either incompetent or doing it on purpose. Actually, as I type this Kelce just scored on an illegal pick which should have been Offensive pass interference.

I was listening to ESPNU radio this afternoon and not sure who the two hosts talking were but a caller called in saying there is no way Bama should go over UT if they both win out. The two hosts went on and on about how head to head really doesn’t matter and it’s all about the eye test and Bama is now better than UT. It amazes me that over the last 10 plus years any narrative to fit Bama going to the playoffs or title game seems to be in play. I sure hope that scenario doesn’t happen this way because I will lose my shit.

He's gone. Probably headed to the Bears as next HC
This right here. He is going to be like Pete Carroll at USC and get out of town before the shit hits the fan. He and Caleb Williams should work well together.

As a New England Patriots fan I don’t think what they did was that bad. It really showed initiative and planning. Big props!

I see a lot of Gen Z videos saying they're not voting for genocide Joe, and you can't change their mind. This is the shit that scares me most about us getting another Trump presidency. Somehow the Israel-Hamas war is going to be blamed on Biden by social media/right wing media and Biden will lose. I saw how a huge block of Palestinians in Michigan that voted for Biden last election are now refusing to vote for him and its apparently enough to possibly swing a state like MI to Trump. Unfortunately, these dumbasses don't realize when it comes to just this one issue, if that is really all that matters for them, then Trump would be worse for the Palestinians in Gaza compared to Biden but I guess dumbasses in this country are dumbasses for a reason.

They cannot help themselves - they own you if they’re not playing you.
You got this last part wrong. They own you even when they are playing you and lose to you because it really wasn't a loss. It was too windy, or time ran out, or they should have gotten the win but the other team scored more points but they are still better.

Oh yeah, get these Trdelnik things sold everywhere on the street. Basically a hollow donut/churro thing cooked over an open fire then rolled in cinnamon/sugar and stuffed with gelato. One place had them rolled in chopped pistachios and then stuffed with pistachio gelato. They were fantastic and yes based on the last two posts I am a fat man!

When I was there in May, I really enjoyed Pork's restaurant near the Charles Bridge. Pork dishes and beer. Pork knuckle below and a cold beer was quite tasty. Also, the restaurant at the Four Seasons has an appetizer/entree, homemade duck ravioli in a truffle parmesan foam sauce, that was crazy good.

Can Tvondre Sweat play Center for goal line push? Just wondering
I like this idea but not at center since he would have to learn how to hike the ball. I say put him at left guard and tell him don't move until the ball is snapped and then kill the guy in front of you.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m starting to think South Carolina isn’t SEC good. This team looks worse than the Rice’s and Wyomings of the world.

14 minutes ago, Nivek said:There wasn't anything substantive in there. Just a rant. Nothing I haven't heard before. No one ever said Israel's hands are clean, yet some people act like they are teaching us. If you want to hash out every little offense, the find someone else. I don't care. Each side has blood on their hands and been bloodied. That one side is better at killing than the other doesn't mean they should stop. Dennison's silly statement to that effect was disabused earlier with an example of what that would look like in action. Chainsaw is living in lala land. His contributions would hold merit on Fantasy Island. The social proof bullshit doesn't work on me. It is one of Cialdini's principles I am largely immune to.
Look at it from a macro scale. Between the two groups, one would settle for peace. The other seems like they only settle for chaos. And don't start with that monolith bullshit. Hamas is the government even if they like to pretend they are not or if anyone else on here likes to pretend otherwise. They represent the Gazans.
Everytime there is a chance for some peace agreement between Israel or someone else, suddenly Palestinians get to killing. They killed the King of Jordan at a mosque. They caused chaos in Lebanon, got Syria to invade Jordan. Jordan defended them, took them in, and those assholes launched attacks from the refugee camps in Jordan against Israel and invited reprisals. They wanted to overthrow the son of the King they killed, and they killed the Prime Minister of Jordan. Why? because they wanted to stop the war with Israel. Some fucking guests they were. They know they are a lawless group with militants only interested in sowing discord. There was a peace agreement and a path, and the Palestinians fucked it up. Until they police their own, they will be on the receiving end of asskickings and bombings, and settlements and larger and larger buffer zones. It is not just Israelis bulldozing their homes and lands, it is also the Egyptians (which no one seems to give a flying fuck about either for some reason). Ask yourself why would they feel the need to create these buffer zones?
Why do the pro-Palestinians types continue to ignore the chaos they have created in other nations? Why do they continue to allow themselves to be used as pawns? Why do they keep playing the stupid games with stupid prizes attached? They are not going to win. What you, Chainsaw, and Dennison seem to suggest, is the old appeasement strategy of Chamberlain just repackaged and rebottled. So, tell me I am wrong. Tell me the facts I presented are incorrect. But argue legitimately.
See, there was this poll done in Gaza. That explains it all and how the world should be. You haven’t been paying attention apparently.

52 minutes ago, chainsaw said:My position is in the immediate term there should be a ceasefire, there should be a restoration of basic necessities to the people of Gaza, and there should be peace talks mediated by the UN. Hostages should be returned immediately, whose return I understand has been on the table for days.
Long term, the solution most Palestinians would have supported (before the attacks and retaliation) was 1967 borders, with no apartheid or other bullshit. Dignity for everyone involved. I think Israel could support that as well, if Palestine were to put measures in place that forbid terror groups or their current/former members from holding any kind of office (so we don't have a repeat of 2006).
I asked a simple question based on your pre 1948 comment. You were unable to speak like an adult and answer it in a simple sentence and adding a simple map of what you believe.

Not what I'm saying. Jews have always lived in the area, but not in the occupied territories.
The occupied territories have always been Palestine, so in a sense yes.
To provide some context, this is what @Brisketexan had said:
The point being made, along the lines of a classic "both sides" false equivalence, is that the status quo ante would be as bad as caging Palestinians.
It's not hard to make the case that caging Palestinians just because they are Palestinians is unacceptable.
But I don't see why pre-1948 borders can be seriously considered the moral equivalent of placing an entire people in cages. Maybe if you think it means the expulsion of all Jews, but I don't see why it would mean that. I just mean that the apartheid should end and Arabs should have equal rights.
Show me on a map the occupied territories you are referring to please. I just want to understand your view point of what that means.
