  1. This Ryan's second loss after leading by 30 points? Kirk is no Brady.
  2. The bag comes with a one year vesting period? Or maybe long term gains on bag options? I don’t know; I am not an accountant.
  3. Solar and wind are cheap (cheapest?), easily deployable and can be scaled from a power plant to powering a calculator. The only thing needed is storage, which is incrementally improving. If some of the many battery alternatives for large energy storage become mainstream, all other energy options become mostly strategic and for ancillary reasons rather than economic ones.
  4. What are your thoughts on Movado? I like the minimalist design and was wondering if there is anything better in this price range ($500-700)?
  5. More likely they are from UW....Bothell.
  6. when it is completely blind like that, why don't the DBs try to grab the ball? The QB doesn't even know the DB is there.
  7. that was crown to the chin. Looks like the TV guys say what referees do.
  8. The minimum is 36 above in CA bay area and I am shivering. I prefer 36C to 36F. If I don't wear socks, my feet will remain cold for hours under two blankets.
  9. Here is an idea. How about something like the 4-team pre-season basketball tournament? Three bowls get together and invite four teams for two semifinals and one final. This is a net loss of two teams since three bowls would involve six teams. The semifinal bowls should be reasonably close to the teams playing there so that fans don't have to fly twice. There will be many mini-winners each playing two mini-playoff games.
  10. Besides the fact that all teams play each other, is it any worse than 12-0 Michigan playing 8-4 Perdue for a conference title?
  11. A few plays earlier, there was another great pass denial when the DB came out of the zone and attacked the WR in his area.
  12. OSU shouldn't have punted the previous possession.
  13. In my completely uninformed opinion, I think he is more of a technical manager and not a leader, besides lacking the killer instinct. Like a good technical person, he can identify issues and work on fixing them, but is probably not the inspirational and driven leader that gets the most out of the people and the opportunities. If so, this is more of a character trait and hard to learn. Doesn't mean technical guys cannot succeed (Gates and Zuckerberg) but the inspirational ones shoot for the moon and often get it (Jobs and Musk). I hope Texas provides that monopoly advantage for the technical guy like Sark to execute on. If he can't succeed here, he doesn't have the personality to build it at lesser advantaged places (imuo).
  14. Yeah, CU defense this drive is playing like they have a 5 TD lead.
  15. Hunter is really good. When did we last have a ball handler and a shot creator like him?
  16. <looking at you intently> Looks like you and I have the same starting word.
  17. so close to getting it right the first time but took 4 tries. Wordle 505 4/6* 🟩🟩🟩⬛🟩 🟩🟩🟩⬛🟩 🟩🟩🟩⬛🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  18. It seems that teams are going for 4th, and making it, at a significantly higher rate this year (or it is just me being conditioned by our defense).
