  1. It’s the weakest if you include the Shead injury, which Pancho is. Of course it’s not the weakest if you don’t include the injury.
  2. Thought this was interesting, could explain some of the uncharacteristically bad offense we’ve seen.
  3. This Duke team blows, no chance they win without that Shead injury. Sucks for UH.
  4. Fraud implies they were fooling people, I think everyone knew this wasn't that great of a Gonzaga team.
  5. Brad Brownell and Kevin Keatts were both on the hot seat a couple of weeks ago, now they're both a game away from the Final Four.
  6. Semi-relevant to us, Alabama just made the elite 8 and their roster is almost entirely mid-major transfers and freshmen.
  7. If anyone was still wondering how UNC missed the tournament last year, tonight showed why. Caleb Love and RJ Davis both shot their teams out of their games. That used to be in the same backcourt.
  8. Wade Taylor was fucking terrible in this game.
  9. Lol, Id be so livid right now if I were a Coog High fan.
  10. This is about the level of program he should be at right now. Hope the kid gets his weight under control.
  11. There hasn’t been a single upset in the second round so far has there? Gonzaga was favored.
  12. Yeah, Rick Barnes had the more talented team, him barely winning isn’t some feather in his cap.
  13. Charles Barkley once said about DeAndre Jordan, “If you left him in a gym overnight by himself and told him he couldn’t dunk, he’d have 4 points in the morning.” Sadly, that basically applies here too.
  14. Well, I don’t think RT’s leash is 6 more years, but it’s not 1 more year either. So the whole discussion of his firing as if it’s coming any time soon is dumb.
  15. Barnes won 2 tournament games his last 6 years here.
  16. I know no one on this board ever wants to be reasonable, especially after a loss. But it was a pretty good season. Tennessee is clearly the more talented team and we still almost stole one. We do need to get to work in the portal though, because I think our problems are much more about roster construction than anything in-game. This wasn’t actually a sweet 16 caliber team. There’s a reason we had to muck up games to have a chance.
  17. Horton and Onyema were last minute replacements after we had two blue chip recruits bail out of their letter of intents. It was a unique emergency situation. We should not take those caliber of players again.
  18. Today's margins were a little worse than yesterday's, but 3 of the #1 seeds played today, so that's to be expected. Think we had 5 single digit margin games yesterday, we've had 3 so far today with a potential 4th. Also, it should be pointed out that FAU/Northwestern went to OT before it ended up a double digit margin.
  19. James Madison led that game wire to wire. That was no Cinderella magic or anything, they were just clearly better than Wisconsin.
  20. Yale is always salty in the tournament. Upset Baylor 6 or 7 years ago, almost upset LSU a couple of years ago, now they upset Auburn.
  21. Yeah, I don't think they were all that great at developing players, which is why the money was the only point. And why it now serves no purpose with NIL being as big as it is.
  22. The Ignite really were only created to give kids an option to make money without having to leave the country. NIL has rendered it pointless, closing it down is the right call. Yeah, most people thought he was flipping to Arkansas when he first asked out of his letter of intent here.
  23. That was some clutch FT shooting by Duquesne.
  24. This Virginia team had absolutely no business being in this tournament. Got in based on being a brand name, selection committee should be embarrassed.
