Millions of acres of completely private land, but a ditch 50 feet off a public road is the best place to dump dozens of bodies.
A county with a population of zero, so no jury of peers. Perfectly sound legal reasoning.
He is the governor, you know.

Why no mention of the monkey biting?
That was Halloween of last year. Not the last 12 months.

MLB will come up with a special dead ball that is only used when the Astros bat.

Yep. Talent or not, Cain had a great game last night.
Production. That's all that matters.
Cain was covered by the third (and then fourth after an injury) best corner of a poor secondary.
If we depend on him for production next year we are going to be in trouble.

The Stormtroopers need to be led by Darth Vader.

So fucking great of you Tvondre to step up and finally become a vocal leader who takes things seriously in the month before your final game of your 5th year on campus. Excellent timing.
Sweat is expected to be back next year.

Sauerkraut on pizza is popular up here in the Midwest. I don’t really care for it though.

1. Enlarge the hiring pool to include athletic directors and recently retired coaches. That would reduce the likelihood of a recruit being disqualified.
2. Hire multiple liaisons. One for Dallas area, one for Houston area, another for the rest of the state. Maybe others for different regions of the country.

One of the hosts on Houston AM 790 said this morning that Correa was getting frequent back treatments from someone outside of the Astros in 21, and then this year was getting treatments again outside of the Twins but more often, like maybe before every game. If true, sounds like he has been trying to hide the seriousness of his back situation from his employers.....which can't be good.

Pimpton should go to Vanderbilt and find out if he can play. He’s not going to beat out Sanders or Taylor at LSU. If he can play, he’s going to command big bucks in the portal. If he can’t, he gets a VU degree.
Pimpton won't be competing with Sanders. He will probably redshirt, like Sanders did. If Sanders has the same kind of year in 23, he could very well declare for the NFL.

To be clear, I wasn't saying we had made bad trades, just that we need to continue making good choices in the prospects we trade away.

Some of that is baked in. You pick last for a decade and make trades for today in your competitive window and tomorrow becomes more difficult. Maybe not dumpster fire bad that we had but that shit takes its toll.
Since the draft is so hit-and-miss, a good front office should be able to find good value even when drafting at the end of every round.
Also need to continue making good decisions in the international market.
Finally, make good decisions on which youngsters to keep and which to trade.

he also has to play outside a lot. mmp shelters our guys. target prob wasn’t great for him either.
Good thing San Francisco is in sunny California and doesn't have any cold, wet night games.

the international talent from Wizard of Oz , underrated players at criminally low prices, kept the dream going. How did Houston lose Oz to Miami? Is that true? Empire takes another hit.
Apparently Oz had issues with Click. Probably one of the reasons Crane didn't keep Click.

As you see from our rebuild horrible is what you should want if you have the right people in place.
you have to hope the fans are understanding and loyal and will support you in doing this. I feel like this organization has that bond with the fans and can always count on them to support the team when they reasonably try to win.
The only way that doesn’t make sense is if you believe you can contend forever in a mid market like Houston if you are smart enough. That doesn’t seem possible to me but it’s 8 years in and still going strong for another 3 at least so who knows. If we have the right people in place we should never get to horrible. McLane let everything go to shit.

you mean the old guy that we met at the very end of the last episode dropping dead wasn't a cliffhanger plot twist?
Nope, the recurring character we came to know and love since the very first episode. Eight episodes in all.

Billy's oversold this so much there is no way he's not going to disappoint his flock. The blowback will be awesome.
His flock will accept whatever lame explanation he spews out because he is booty buddy with JFF.

These guys comparing paychecks is exactly the kind of thing that we should be cheering for. Next up is fall camp holdouts. Also, I am betting the 3M is over 4 years. No way some idiot is stupid enough to give a kid with huge red flags that kind of money up front.
That is a long time away. We are just starting the fall portal period. More jumpers to come and even some landers......which will may inspire more to jump.
Then we get the spring portal period with more to enter the portal after spring practice.

Adding teams to the playoffs has really bumped up the prices in free agency and the trade market.
Having a good minor league system moving forward will be rewarded even more than in the past.

They could do what they did last year with the defensive recruits. Can’t imagine why it wouldn’t work again.
Their "BMD's" aren't as optimistic as they were last year.
