  1. it's obviously the husband. read a blurb where she complained to her friends that he would choke her until she passed out, then she'd wake up in the bathroom.
  2. we did. unfortunately it stopped snowing by the time we got in. It was awesome
  3. I cannot imagine the pain. My condolences
  4. I've been meaning to try Moreno, went to high school with Bo.
  5. i have an SUV and young kids. Having cloth was not an option. With leather, you just wipe off any food/drink/shit/vomit they spill and it's clean.
  6. i sure hope so as I prefer the Ford over the GMC. Looking at the prices online though, the 2020 Fords are much more expensive than the 2021 GMCs which is crazy to me
  7. Looking to buy a new truck, either the 2021 GMC Sierra SLT or 2020 Ford F-150 Lariat 3.5. what is the best strategy to get the lowest price? I'm in Austin and willing to drive a few hundred miles to buy. No trade in, will have my own financing. My strategy was to call/email as many dealerships with my desired color/trim/etc and ask for their lowest price OTD. Do a second round of this with the ones that respond. what else am i missing?
  8. fuck that noise. buy this test kit https://tftestkits.net/TF-100-Test-Kit-p4.html, download the PoolMath app, and watch some youtube videos. It's the easiest thing in the world to maintain your own pool
  9. I'm going to have to do the same. Fucking CH was 700 last time i checked (CYA was 70). Not looking forward to that water bill
  10. yes. go to a site one
  11. mine crapped out about a month ago and i replaced it with this. well worth the price. it's fucking powerful and super quiet. so quiet that i had to confirm i had installed it right. it's a pain in the ass to install because it's awkward being below the sink, but difficulty wise it's pretty simple
  12. all i used were the locks that screw on to the rails, ensuring the window cannot open more than 4 inches. check with your construction supervisor to make sure. inspection codes change all the time
  13. in austin you need window locks on any behind the fence line. i installed the cheap stick on door alarm, and once inspection passed i took it off FYI, the stores will not allow you to return the alarms - they know the game
  14. same for zoysia in austin?
  15. pinthouse pizza electric jellyfish
  16. subscribed. having same issue right smack in the middle of my front yard.
  17. that is fucking NUTS. You did not get anything outrageous, just standard cedar posts with metal posts. i was quoted $3600 for about 148 linear feet last fall (~25 sq ft). No idea what they're running now but i can't imagine them going up $40/ft because of covid
  18. we had 3 stools built into our pool and we use them often. I'm waiting for an electrician to come out and wire the outdoor patio area so i can install a TV where the stools are
  19. jesus fucking christ, i feel dirty for agreeing with slorch for once

  22. Yup, i cook hot and fast. my egg thermometer read 275 which is probably 300 at the grate level. i did 2:1 pepper to salt, but then i went back and hit it with more straight pepper. use a metal pan with water above the stone, below the brisket. i mix apple cider vinegar and worcestershire (enough squirts to make it turn brown) and spritz every hour until i wrap. i left it wrapped in butcher paper on the counter for 1.5 hours, no cooler. it was still plenty fucking hot after 90 minutes
  23. from the wife "chop potatoes, then boil potatoes (soft but not mushy other wise you get mashed potatoes) boil eggs and chop mustard Mayo diced onions diced pickles diced pimento Dill weed Salt to taste dash of pepper Sorry I don't measure anything just throw it all together and add things to taste"
  24. waiting for my wife to send me the recipe. it's pretty simple though from when i've seen her make it. potatoes, hard boiled eggs, mustard and mayo (not sure the ratio), diced pickles, dill
  25. Brisket prices are down again. Found this 9.5# prime brisket at Costco for $2.69/lb. 2:1 pepper to salt ratio, smoked on my BGE for about 6.5 hours at 275*. Wrapped in butcher paper and rested for 1.5 hours. Homemade Mac and cheese and potato salad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
