  1. Just pulled the trigger on the suede western heel in wheat. Will report back when I get them.
  2. Hmmmm... never owned a suede boot. What is the care protocol? Do they stain very easily?
  3. MSRP, but the guy gave me $20 off with some code he had behind the register.
  4. You can still get the Red Wing Pecos, but you need to go to a store to order them. I recently purchased some, they seem every bit the quality of my long gone pair. Still made in the USA. http://www.redwingshoes.com/red-wing-shoe/1178-red-wing-shoes/1178-red-wing-mens-11-inch-pull-on-boot-brown
  5. Thanks. They're getting there; thick socks and bick 4 seems to be doing the trick. I'm definitely gonna pass on the full dunk method.
  6. I ended up getting both the Dan Post Black waterproof boots and Red Wing 1155 Pecos. Breaking them in is going slower than I've encountered in the past. What do y'all do for breaking in boots that need it?
  7. Got the kids into some Pickerel yesterday. They did surprisingly well.
  8. We're going to use him like Darren Sproles!
  9. I think we are going to need some clarification on ass-kissing level programs.
  10. This is VERY WRONG. Getting people that do their job well at a bargain basement prices is "The Patriot Way(TM)."
  11. Those are classics and I should probably get another pair just because. Looking for black though.
  12. Does anyone have a recommendation for a waterproof western boot? I'm killing my soles way too fast up here. No square-toes. I found these, but have no experience with Dan Post.
  13. This right here. There are no keto/non-keto foods. As long as you stay under ~20 net carbs, you're keto.
  14. It can smooth the caffeine uptake. For some, it helps with hunger; so it can be a meal replacement. It tastes fine; I prefer unsalted or just straight heavy cream. Almost all of the time I just drink it black and skip out on the calories.
  15. While us keto practitioners don't break the laws of thermodynamics, I refer to George Box with respect to the CICO model of weight loss, "All models are wrong. Some models are useful." CICO is a simple, simple model of a very complex system. I've done light research into the topic and would suggest to strict CICO proponents: read Gary Taube's book Good Calories, Bad Calories. It's well researched and includes citations.
  16. Go Pats. TB12[emoji238]
  17. Absolutely. That article is talking ideal situations. When people fluctuate on their weight loss and wonder, "Am I putting on muscle?" The answer is almost certainly "No."
  18. You will have lots of fluctuations on keto, especially as your body takes time to get fat adapted. I'd guess you are holding more water for whatever reason. Adding muscle is very slow, check this link: https://www.bodybuilding.com/content/how-much-muscle-can-you-gain.html
