  1. I've seen #12 before, just not often. Close game, you're up 3-7 points, you get pinned back with time winding down. If it's 4th down on your own 1 yard line with 10ish seconds left, do you punt it and risk a punt block touchdown? Or do you have the QB run to the back pylon, waste all 10 seconds and step out the back of the end zone for a safety on the last play of the game?
  2. There's plenty of stuff you can do. Gentle passive remobilization. Heat massage. Ice compression massage (they sell these compression packs that you can freeze, wrap around a joint, and hook it up to pneumatic pump to provide a on/off compression massage). TENS unit. Acupuncture/dry needling. Topical antiinflammatories.
  3. I'll be in Vegas as well 🤘🏽
  4. It's the reason I sometimes get the random urge to start whistling Neon Moon lol
  5. Wait until he hears about the cell phone flop out.
  6. I mean... Looks like his options were Florida or.... Florida State. How good is he?
  7. Even if he was still with SMU, SMU coaches could have always sold him on playing for a higher ranked team 😁
  8. DJ was the backup plan. They went hard after Cam Ward, but by the time he "entered" the draft, then pulled out of the draft and committed to Miami, there weren't a lot of great QB portal options left if I remember correctly.
  9. I think he's talking about the crowd noise part of the original question
  10. Kiffin complaining that they don't get enough night games at Ole Miss. A&M is getting several (ND, LSU, USC, AUB, NMSU, probably UT)...Elko apparently threw out some one liner about trading one of those night games to Ole Miss.
  11. I don't remember this, but apparently DJ pulled a Charlie Strong before it was cool.
  12. Long way from "EARTHQUAKE!!"
  13. One of the A&M mods initially straight up said that aggy wasn't interested lol I suppose that could change, but that would be an ego blow to him that not even aggy wants you.
  14. Vanderbilt beating Alabama was pretty fucking entertaining. I'd be down to have him around for another year. Guys that would take advantage of this rule probably have a near 0 shot at NFL. I don't have an issue with them trying to make one more big payday before they go pro in sometime other than sports... Or in Canada.
  15. But what color polo was he wearing at school?
  16. 👀👀 Stallions playing the long long game.
  17. Here's the weird part... The eye test says our defense is poor... But we're top half in the league in goals against, level with Chelsea, Man City, and only 1 behind Arsenal Meanwhile, we're top on goals scored and second in goal differential I think the problem is when/who we give those goals up to. We give up chunks of goals to teams that we think should be easy, and so we don't come out with focus? Or is it that we're more wide open against those teams thinking we'll score at will, and we're more pragmatic against better teams?
  18. It could get crazy. Assume: Texas wins out, Georgia beats Tennessee. Texas is in and our opponent could be whoever wins the tie breaker of the following two loss teams: Alabama (Mercer, OU, Auburn) (Ls: Vandy, Tenn) Georgia (Tenn, UMass, GT) (Ls: Bama, Ole Miss) Tennessee (UGA, UTEP, Vandy) (Ls: Ark, UGA) Texas A&M (NM St, Auburn, Texas) (Ls: USC, Texas) Ole Miss ( UF, Miss St) (Ls: UK, LSU) LSU (UF, Vandy, OU) (Ls: A&M, Bama) Missouri (USC, Miss St, Ark) (Ls: A&M, Bama)
  19. We went through this in the Bama/LSU game thread but bottom line, with the way the tie breakers are set up we currently control our own destiny. If Texas, LSU, and Tennessee all win out and end up with one loss each, tie breakers would put Texas vs LSU in the CCG
  20. Since Tennessee lost to Arkansas and LSU has beaten Arkansas, if we win out, LSU and Texas would own the common opponent tie breaker over Tennessee (all three teams all beat the other common opponents). I can't see a way that tie breaker changes if all 3 teams win out
  21. First tiebreaker is head to head, which doesn't exist between any of the three teams. Second tie breaker is record vs common opponents. Against opponents common to all three teams, Tennessee would have the only loss (vs Arkansas). So Texas and LSU would own the tiebreaker and be in the CCG. Third tiebreaker I think is opponents cumulative conference winning percentage, which is impossible to forecast at this point
  22. I mean, I'm introducing 3 hypotheticals. Texas wins out. Tennessee wins out. LSU wins out. All realistic. All likely? Eh who knows, especially in this chaotic season. But if I'm reading tie breaking rules correctly, Georgia's loss today means we control our own destiny regardless of what happens in this game
  23. Saw the tweet earlier this week. Apparently Ben has been getting chemo all season... Cancer finally spread and they had to put him down. Fuck cancer, for our pets too.
