  1. Dude, I can go 70 miles on 2 gallons easily. I tend to fill up when it's between a quarter and an eighth but I don't sweat it if it's under that.
  2. Giving up Smart stings more than giving up Brogdon, but getting those draft picks helps. Memphis upgrading and now really have no need to bring back Brooks.
  3. I guess. Brogdon just felt like a great fit for the Celtics in the playoffs. He doesn't have to carry a large burden on the Celtics to be valuable to them. KP's numbers are better but they're basically upgrading one position and accepting a downgrade in the second unit backcourt.
  4. Apparently Morgantown has the same number of sunny days per year as Seattle but is full of hillbillies and meth instead of tech bros and fentanyl (and meth). So I can see MotownHorn's point. Although calling it Motown should be grounds for caning.
  5. If true that's a good move for both sides, I think. Good fit for KP. ============= EDIT: Actually just read the Celtics would be giving up Brogdon to get KP. That feels like a mistake. I was assuming it was going to involve draft picks and filler rather than a contributor that helped them ride out the Tatum and Brown cold spells.
  6. ^All of that can be true and not translate to "he's a bum." Biyombo is a bum. Surprised to see Gary Trent Jr opt in for the Raptors. With VanVleet opting out I would have thought he'd have followed suit, at least pressuring Toronto to pay to keep him. I guess he has someone in his ear telling him that he could be the man this year and demand a bigger contract next year.
  7. That's not a bad proposal for Portland. No one is taking Dame's contract off their hands so they're stuck trying to create a contender around his shrinking window. PG fits that much more than a talented 18-19 year old would. If they could get the Clippers to swap this year or throw in a future first Blazers basically have to say yes.
  8. He's frustrating because it's easy to see how much better he could be, but ayton is hardly a bum. He's just a third tier big with first tier potential that is looking less likely to be realized with every year.
  9. I don't disagree with your post really but I'd point out that maybe as little as 4 years ago this statement would have been considered ludicrous and Cam Payne a first round bust. So there's a reasonable chance they can find some other discard on a minimum deal that proves valuable enough to keep teams from running away on their second unit.
  10. Giving Stephen A Smith a run for his money as the stupidest mouth in sports media. Giving the Suns management the benefit of the doubt, is there any hope that KD, Booker, or Beal can rework their contracts for longer terms with more overall guaranteed money at a lower per year cost within the framework of the current CBA? I'm guessing not. I love KD but the idea of him being worth over $50M at age 37 seems a little crazy.

Wannabe Patrick Beverlys playing dirty physical ball like it's game 7 of the Finals instead of Tuesday random pickup at LAFitness with scrubs. Motherfucker I'm old AF, have a spinal cord injury, and just want to get a little run in without ending up in the hospital. GTF off me.
  12. Throw away the stupid single use case tray that only makes sense for someone bringing in eggs from their backyard chickens anyway.
  13. He's past Shaq, IMO. I know different eras, different rules and shit, so in the 90s-00s Jokic might not have been as dominant but Shaq would be very limited in the modern game. Duncan and Hakeem could play today no problem. KAJ same. Not sure on Wilt and Russell but probably so. Wilt was just such a freak athletically that it's hard to imagine he wouldn't dominate in any era.
  14. This gotta be the booze talking
  15. holy shit BAM ehh, didn't look as nice on the replay from the other angle though.
  16. Phoenix should jump all over a cp3 for smart trade but Boston would be real dumb to do so.
  17. If Middleton opts out in Milwaukee should Phoenix and Dallas chase him knowing he's on the wrong side of 30 and just had knee surgery?
  18. I'm a world where LeBron is still playing this is far from accurate. Smart is a top 5 flopper but they call LeBron the king for a reason.
  19. Who hates Marcus Smart? This ain't Pat Bev out there just agitating and calling it defense. Dude legitimately plays great on ball defense within the rules of the game.
  20. I like JVG. Stan cannot retire fast enough for me. No energy, no personality, no chemistry with PBP guy.
  21. Yeah if it's good at the peaks of their careers then C is a that winner, but if it's guys only when they played for Miami then it's A.
  22. He's had better stats without being as impactful as he was last night. He got timely buckets, played good defense, and just generally played a more in control game.
  23. That was pretty easily the best game Bam has had in the playoffs. I still think Denver will win but Miami has proven that they are going to take advantage of any opportunities they are given.
