  1. Get an E63s or RS6. Nobody on the street knows how to launch a car. I've embarrassed a couple Hellcats off the line in my S6. I love the sound of wheelspin. Just don't race them on the highway. Result will be different.
  2. That sounds perfect. That's what we'll do.
  3. We did an airbnb in Edinburgh, but I've soured on STRs as a whole after seeing what they have done to housing markets in tourist areas (including Edinburgh). I'll be sticking with hotels going forward, I think.
  4. Sorry to hear it, bruin.
  5. Was just out there last weekend. Didn't ski, but had some good meals. Rupert's is the shit for breakfast. If you like corned beef hash, they have the best one I've ever had. We were only there one night for dinner, but we ate at Perbacco Cucina Italiana. It was very good.
  6. I felt the same way. Thoroughly gruntled with the food in Scotland. We ate very well while we were there. And left with a love of haggis and black pudding.
  7. Nah, I have an independent Toyota specialist that I use. But the truck has been flawless.
  8. Seeing rumors that Albon has been offered Checo's seat for 2025. I'm not sure he wants it, though. I've seen some interviews with him and he did not enjoy being Max's teammate, not even a little bit. Could see him wanting the open MB seat instead.
  9. I look at the 65 games as rewarding those who stay healthy and play every night. If you miss 17 games, that's over 20% of the season. You don't deserve All-NBA or MVP if you play in less than 80% of the games. Halliburton will have to survive on $40 million a year instead of $50 million.
  10. Looks like no reservations for Hatsuyuki, right? There will be 3 of us on a Wednesday night. Should we be able to get in? Is there someplace to sit and drink while we wait for a table?
  11. Assuming they get better. And the MB is a better car than Aston.
  12. Looking for a good non-steakhouse restaurant for next Wednesday night. Thurs-Sat are all going to be beef heavy (Bob's, Reata and Texas de Brazil already booked) so I'd like something different for Wednesday. Any good sushi in Ft Worth, or good Italian, or seafood? Staying at the Kimpton Harper.
  13. The more I think about the open MB seat, the more i want Fred in it. Seeing him and Lewis fighting at the front of the grid (fighting for P2 and P3, anyway) would be great. Unlikely, I know, but I'd love to see it.
  14. If this graphic is correct, you are right. But Albon is available, as is Fred. Looks like Charles and Lando's extensions aren't shown here. Did Lewis have a driver option for 2025?
  15. That is my guess as well. He knows his time in F1 is limited and wants a chance to win again and doesn't think MB will get back there in time for him.
  16. Piastri to MB, Saenz back to McLAren.
  17. The reality is that many cannot pay their fair share. So instead of looking at things how you want them to be, you can start there instead. Figure out what kind of society you want to live in.
  18. My fucking neighbor bought one for his son. In less than a year, he wrecked it 3 times and they got rid of it. What did they replace it with, you might ask? Another one. This time with an aftermarket exhaust. He drives it like a total asshole.
  19. I had a G37x before I got my S6. They could not be more different. If E63 is your expectation, don't even bother with the Infiniti. They are reliable and moderately quick to drive if that's OK, though.
  20. Yeah, who wants a functioning society, right? Those moochers can fuck all the way off as soon as they pop out of their mom. But we'll make sure to force mom to have the baby, right?
  21. Can't afford an $80k tax bill, eh? I'd welcome the tax cut personally.
  22. Most people weren't willing to pay what they cost to make, which is why we don't have them anymore in the US until the new Prado gets here later this year. They are amazing vehicles, though. I'm not aware of any other car or truck that is designed to last 25 years. They're incredibly overbuilt. But that costs money.
  23. My 2021 has 40k miles and has never been to the dealership except the day I bought it. The 2002 has 240k on it and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country tomorrow. They just run and run and they are perfect mountain vehicles. Incredibly capable offroaders, too. And the 2021 is still worth almost what I paid for it 3 years ago. The 2002 is worth more than I paid for it.
  24. She does? Might need a rewatch. I know it's sacrilege around these parts, but I think she's hotter than Daddario.
