Yeah, that withholding stunt is something else.
For the record, if you are a business owner with employees and subject to withholding taxes for them, do not EVER fuck around with that. The IRS will come down on you hard and swiftly. They will shutter your business, sell the assets, even the leased/loaned-on assets. You will be fucked like Chuck. They will ask zero questions until all that is done.
You will be held personally liable as well. No hiding behind the business on that. -

I’d definitely consider myself an insufferable wine douche/snob, and I love caymus. It’s consistent, well made and generally my “go to” at overpriced steak houses. I know it will always pair well, and I like the earthy mountain fruit it always has.
This is how I feel as well. It's consistent and it tastes good. And it's less expensive than a lot of Napa cabs.

Fontanella cab is a great value.Love Napa. Currently members of:
Orin Swift - we only get trigger finger
The caves at soda canyon
Fontanella
Ehlers and Relic.

I'll never understand the caymus hate from some wine snobs.they probably only have about 20,000 cases left now! premium "napa" juice there! -
Granby is the biggie, yes.Turquoise and Granby? -
If you are after lakers, there are still better options.I work with some guys that have fished there. Basically, if you hit the mountain lakes that have lake trout at the right time that the ice is coming off you can do really well. The lake trout get into the shallows for a short period of time to feed after not eating much all winter. I think I was late by a few days. -
No reason to ever fish there. I've never heard of anyone doing well there.Went fishing at Green Mountain Reservoir up in the mountains of Colorado. Didn’t catch shit. Had a 24”+ lake trout strike at my lure two different times and miss. Had several small lake trout strike and miss or just follow my lure but never take it. Pissed me off. -

Mother fucking this. We walk our dog at least 3X a day and pick up her poo but usually one or two piles from the assholes who don't. About the only thing more infuriating than the fucktards who don't pick up after their dogs are the ones who go through the effort of bagging the shit and then LEAVE THE FUCKING BAG ON THE CURB! What the ever loving fuck? Are they saying "hey neighbor, I'm awesome & didn't leave my dog's shit in your yard, but I want you to pick up this bag of stinky shit & put it in your bin until trash day next week.
Even better when those assholes leave the plastic poop bag on the hiking trail. Because they're going to pick it up on the way back, right? Right?

Lagunitas had a great tap room.Leave early for the trip to wine country. Especially if you're heading to the Santa Rosa area via 101N.
If you like beer, stop by Lagunitas Brewery in Petaluma (off of 101). They also have a pretty decent food menu.- 1

We love Tulemar in the Manuel, Antonio region. https://tulemar.com/
Beach is really great....has a couple of pools too.,
Concierge can set you up with just about any and all things you'd want to do including fishing. https://tulemar.com/activities/
I have also chartered with Ward Michael's separately and he can arrange whatever you want as well when it comes to fishing in C.R.
Incredible grounds at Tulemar....hell, the "Sloth Walk" on-site is one of my favorite memories.
Convenient to Quepos. Plenty of places to eat and drink, or do it in-house in the condo/house.
We had Tulemar arrange a van to pick us up in San Jose and drive us to the resort and back. With your group that would be easy and cost effective. You'll have the driver to yourself and can stop along the way as needed. We had the van stop and spent some time at the "croc bridge" above the Tarcoles River so we could take some pictures.
There are also a lot of houses for rent in that region and across the country, but for my money it was easier to turn key with Tulemar, especially on the 1st trip over.
+1 on Tulemar. If we ever make it back down there, I'm sure that is where we will stay.

Where did you stay in Yountville? We went out a couple months ago and stayed at the Bardessono. Didn't make it to any of the wineries you mentioned with the exception of Caymus. My favorite winery was Reverie. They are relatively small, but have great wines. I usually can't stand most white wines but they have a Roussane/Marsanne that is fantastic.
In addition to the Caymus cab, I was really impressed with the Conundrum sparkling rose. That is a great everyday drinker, along with Abstract. It's hard to justify opening an $80-100 bottle of wine on Tuesday night. Meomi Pinot Noir is a good one in the $20 range.

Was playing softball and this SS thought he was still in college throwing to 1st base in the mid 80mph range. Asshole hit me in the knee on the way to 1st base. I walked it off after a bit.
The very next play there was a line-out and the same asshole hit me in the head as I was diving back to first base. Got knocked out for a few seconds and was called out because I never made it to the bag. I was walking back to a dugout until my teammate grabbed me and walked me to the correct dugout. We only had 10 players that game and I insisted on playing. Got moved to the catcher position and played the rest of the game concussed (didn't know it at the time)
This is fantastic. I'm dying over here.

I am now the proud owner of my very first kamado grille, a vision grille I picked up via Craigslist with an electric starter, extra bag and hard container for lump charcoal, cover and stand for $400. I believe I need the heat deflector to actually smoke on it, but need to look more into it since I'm new to this. I plan on just grilling up some steaks tonight.
Side note: I can't get any links to pics from imgur to actually work on this newfangled website
Hopefully you have better luck than I did with that brand. Bought one from Costco and had it a month before the firebox cracked. Took it back and bought a BGE and haven't looked back.

Yep. Those are them.Yup. These little things are what I use.

I used to use the BGE starters that are little squares but i found some generic ones on Amazon.
Which fire starters do you use? I think I’m going to give up the chimney contraption -
Really? I prefer the wood pulp firestarters, but i will use the looftlighter to get things going. Also, I’m the only person on the planet who doesn’t like the Looftilighter. Gave mine away. Team electric coil. -
I know it's not an issue for most here, but they are fantastic in snow and ice as well.Solid tire, but I think the AT looks a little better. Michelin for miles, though, no question. -
Going to prison? Or to the future? Where can't you take a Boston Terrier?

Louisville is a cool town. Voted best small town in America on more than one occasion. But it's just in the middle of the Denver/Boulder metro area, so I wouldn't call it a true small town.

Big 4 work sucks, but opens lots of doors. If you can suck it up for 3 years, you can leave for a big pay raise and a much better work/life balance.
Everyone I know who works in O&G works their ass off, but they are paid well.

You might like Fair Play (aka, South Park). It's up in the mountains west of Denver.
I'm a CO native. Well aware of Fairplay (one word, not two), but we already have our place in the mountains in Fraser.
-
Wife and I plan on retiring to our mountain house someday, but I think I'll always want somewhere to go during mud season, so we will always have a place in Denver as well. Probably downsize our current house when the kids move out (if they move out).
I'm much more at peace in the mountains than I am in Denver. Just a different pace of life.

I wish we could all live in the mountains at high altitude. That's where I see myself in five years.
