The amex plat doesn't give you free luggage but each year you are able to designate on airline for a travel credit that credits you back for up to $200 annually when you charge luggage or food/drinks on the flight of the airline you've chosen. AA is one of the airlines you can choose to designate for which to receive the benefit.

The amex plat doesn't give you AA lounge access. If the airport you're at has a centurion lounge you can use the centurion lounge. You can also use certain other airline's lounges through the (I think it's called) Priority Lounge program. However you have to be flying on that airline in order to use that airline's lounge. For example, Delta at AUS is available if you're flying Delta.

There are only 13 centurion lounges. AUS doesn't have one but DFW and IAH do. However amex is working on expanding the network.

You can buy a day pass for the AAdmirals club and it counts towards your $200 reimbursement credit.

Since I started this bitch fest, let me clarify that I'm okay with standing in a quarter inch of piss in the bathroom. I don't need or want 50 fucking gourmet food options. I don't mind for one second the metal bleachers (although I did really dig the old blue and white fold up seats). I love that shit hole fucking stadium despite the fact that I have endured some of the worst fucking football beatings in my life there - I'm still waiting for that asshole from Miami to come out of the tunnel and seeing that fat fuck Roy Williams (the evil one) on the OU sideline Saturday gave me PTSD.

I would, however, like to experience the privilege of buying an $8 bottle of water without missing 60% of the football game when it's 95 fucking degrees outside. An RC cola to mix my bourbon would even be better but I don't want to come off as a snob. Those idiots probably lost a million dollars in beverage sales yesterday. And if, by chance, I could avoid being herded like cattle into the stadium ass to dick with a bunch of mouth breathing sooners for 45 minutes in a scene that had to violate every fire code ever, then that would be cool too.

The fact that there are no vendors in the stands for water when it’s 91 degrees is ridiculous. The fact that zero concession stands have TVs so you can see whatever quarter you are having to miss while waiting in line is downright ludicrous.

  3. The race riots could have been a very interesting plot line. The timeline is a few years before the Civil Rights act so they could have shown the struggle to do business in the underworld as black people started to fight back against the system. The whole  thing felt like a SNL skit where cast members are doing impressions of other people. No conflict with Tony playing ball trying to win Jr’s approval. Janice might as well have been at summer camp. No Tony on the bus getting picked on with the guy that went into gambling debt and gave Tony his son’s car. No Feech. No Hesh. Carmella only show up briefly despite being Tony’s HS sweetheart. We wasted time on the rise and fall of hot speakers and Dickie’s incarcerated uncle. That was damn near half the movie.

This was a complete money grab.

I'm hard-pressed to think of a fast food franchise that has fallen as far as Arby's.  It used to be terrific.  Now?  To say it's a pale shadow of its former self would be an insult to pale shadows -- that's how shitty Arby's is now compared to what it used to be.

I mean yeah it’s game two, and much remains to be seen about how the Sark era will play out. But it took Sark two weeks to fail harder than Mensa ever did in four years, so for someone who never liked or understood the hire to begin with this sure doesn’t make me see it any different. If we’d let Herman have another season to try and get over the hump we’d be in a better position than we are today. Better because we wouldn’t have just been utterly crushed for 60 minutes by a team that sucks, and because we’d still be in a position to fire a middling coach and get a good one if that opportunity came up. We’re stuck with Sark for 3-4 years at least.

Maybe Sark will put it all together here, anything’s possible. I just can’t see any reason to think it will happen.

Didn’t Mensa lose to a MD team that didn’t even have a coach?
