  1. You said this backwards, but I was curious how true it was. I don’t know what you are considering “rare”, but it certainly happens. From what I could tell, just in the last decade: 2021: Stetson Bennett - winner (he played the previous season but pretty comparable experience to Arch, a few starts, 1,179 yards and 8 passing tds 2021: Bryce Young - runner up 2020: Mac Jones - winner (borderline, he made 4 starts after Tua went down the previous year) 2018: Trevor Lawrence - winner 2017: Jake Fromm - runner up 2016: Jalen Hurts - runner up 2015: Jake Coker - winner
  2. Holy shit. Apparently someone named ABR could change uniforms with the best WR in the NFL and nobody would even notice. I think this may actually be the year guys as always, credit to @Longhornfrenzy
  3. It's when a film has at least two named female characters who have dialogue with one another.
  4. Holy shit, what a little bitch
  5. A large contingent of the fan base sure does seem invested in Livingston being great, but for the life of me I just can’t figure out why that is.
  6. Any list without Simmons is going to look silly at the end of the year. It really makes me laugh that Stowers has developed into such a good player.
  7. Is the social media team posting fewer highlight clips from scrimmage and practices this year? It seems like in years past we had videos of several sick catches and random big plays by now that we can all overreact to. Or, presented in the style of satyanash, I think we’re probably doomed because we haven’t produced a single notable highlight in practice so far this preseason.
  8. Fake account. Come on now
  9. Sergio attacking his colon cancer. Fuck cancer
  10. I really enjoyed this part. Got’em!
  11. Take it to the NSFW forum. Some of us read this thread at work.
  12. It’s fucking bizarre. Nabou must not be healthy or the same, but even in some misguided attempt to get your best five on the field creating a weak spot at LT when it could be a strength is some galaxy brain shit.
  13. Standard small sample size and competition caveats apply, but if Arch maintained that rating and played enough to qualify, it would have been good for 2nd in the nation. Three tenths of a point behind Cam Ward’s 88. Pretty solid for a three star in his first real college snaps.
  14. Good post. Regarding the body lean thing, in college it was such a huge asset inside the 10. Go watch his Texas highlights, it’s insane how many touchdowns he had where he absorbed or slips past some kind of contact at around the 5 or 6 yard line and runs through it with just enough momentum to get to the goal line. Guy was always playing downhill. He was the player that got me into recruiting. First HS player to get the cover of Dave Campbell’s I believe. I was a HS freshman at Tyler Lee when he was a senior and we had Derick Farmer in the same class. Of course all the Tyler people (and Aggies) were convinced that Farmer was better. I was already a Texas homer and had endless arguments with people that Ced was on a different level. Came out pretty comfortably on the correct side of that one.
  15. Taylor Swift is fine. Deep catalog of perfectly tolerable pop songs in different enough genres where at least there is some variation. In the constant struggle for the Spotify playlist with my two girls, she’s frequently the least worst option. Anyone parent who has heard that Zombies movie soundtrack knows it can get so much worse than Taylor Swift
  16. You beat me to it. "The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command"
  17. I know, just giving you shit Although I’m not certain just how much we can glean from those stopwatch times without any other context
  18. I am a sicko for this stuff too, but drooling over a day 1 insider report of punter hang times (that he personally recorded on his iPhone) may be a bridge too far.
  19. How many strip sacks/forced fumbles can Simmons create on his own with a year of development and additional snaps? He was credited with 3 forced fumbles (and a pick) last season. Not sure how many of those FF ended up as turnovers. At least one didn’t just because of a bad bounce:
  20. I mean, sort of. It’s a Lionsgate movie with Seth Rogan and Keanu Reeves. It’s been a weird few years for Aziz but it’s not like he had to put this movie on a bunch of credit cards and film it gorilla style. Basically nobody can get studio comedies green-lit anymore, so if this is the gutter for him he’s doing ok
  21. How charitable of you
  22. Say what you will about the guy, but you have to admire Trump’s strict message discipline in the face of this controversy
  23. I had to read that sentence several times too. He’s saying that a new transfer isn’t going to run out with the first team in the first snap of fall practice, even though everyone knows he’ll “work is way” there as camp progresses.
