There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee . . . that says, fool me once, shame on . . . shame on you. Fool me . . . you can't get fooled again.

I think students, faculty, alumni, donors, and prospective students have the right to know if hartzell is impotent and abbott is running the university.
Hartzell isn’t the only one of them who’s impotent.

There’s no better place to be in Austin than on Rainey Street at 1:30 a.m.

I eat a lot less beef than I used to.
Not for climate reasons, but I significantly reduced my red meat consumption a couple years ago, and subsequently saw a huge reduction in my overall and bad cholesterol numbers (upping my fiber helped as well). I love a good burger about once a month, and eat other beef dishes here or there. But my main source of animal protein is chicken.

What was Foxtrot
I think the first one in Austin opened off Burnet across from Pinthouse a year or so ago, a few blocks from my old house. It was a decent place to walk to and pick up some quick food, beer, wine, etc. But seemed like an upscale convenience store that really depended on a lot of local neighborhood support to anchor its revenue. It started in Chicago, and I saw a few locations when I was there last summer.

Rumor has it that Azul Tequila is moving from their cursed Dry Creek location to the old Double Dave's on Mesa.
Speaking of which, I miss Mesa Ranch. I went there a couple times when my kids were young toward the end of it's tenure, and I thought the food was still solid and enjoyed the live music.

Thanks I always get confused with those two. It's Blackshire who is related to the Duke of Wellington and Blackwell who is from the Shire, correct?
They're both . . . [checks notes] . . . Black.

One of his kids probably has a law degree from American Samoa and he's shuffling money to the family.
Those are some serious Polynesian ties.

I can easily eat a whole bag of HEB chicharones easily in one sitting.

The Arizona DL is a large human being. Just saw him at The Four Seasons lobby. Send me $9.95 and I’ll tell you what shirt he was wearing.
And Jay Toia is also here, and looks like he has an unpleasant disposition.

And Bill, Austin traffic is always that wide open, no issues at all. C’mon over!
This is our program under Sark. He’s able to clear Austin traffic for recruits.

The aggys need to re-read the reports on the bonfire collapse. I guarantee you no one read this report.
"Though its individual components are complex, the central message is clear. The
collapse was about physical failures driven by organizational failures, the origins
of which span decades of administrations, faculty, and students. No single factor
caused the collapse, just as no single change will ensure that a tragedy like this
never happens again."https://csel.eng.ohio-state.edu/productions/pexis/readings/submod3/TAMUbonfire.pdf

I’d like to present today’s lunch. Left over reheated garlic bread, processed American cheese, left over prime filet, sprinkle of butter and garlic seasoning, and Whataburger spicy ketchup.
Is there a type of American cheese that isn’t processed?

Why Can't I Quit You, Austin?

Indeed. My wife and I love to grab lunch in East Austin on a Saturday and then spend the afternoon bar hopping.
