  1. I’ve been in this town my entire life so very little surprises me when it comes to the usual Austin politics, but Adler and the council’s abject refusal to move off the homeless issue is the most surprising and frustrating aspect of local politics I can recall here.

It’s getting worse by every.single.metric.  And at an alarmingly fast pace too.

Yet nary a word about it from any of the usual suspects.

    It’s sick.

Looks like you and I were in line together today.

Oddly enough, both my feet fell asleep so badly about twenty minutes after my shot, I thought I was going to have to pull off to the side of the road just north of Jarrell.  Could have been a coincidence but I’ve never had that feeling before.  Very strange.

Will check in again here tomorrow or Friday and let y’all know what, if any, side effects occur.

Did not post yesterday because did not move yesterday.  Yikes, that sucked.

Went to bed feeling great but took two Tylenol PMs just in case.  Awoke at 1am (approx the 12hr mark) and felt awful.  Headache and body ache all over.  Did not sleep the rest of the night.  Someone above equated it to a car wreck and that’s absolutely right.  Every joint and muscle in my body felt bruised and swollen. Even the thought of moving was painful.  Started feeling better by lunch, moved around for about an hour then crashed hard the rest of the evening/night.

Woke up just now feeling 90% better.

I’m pumped the immune system was doing what it’s supposed to but that was not fun.

    @Deej how’s you do?

Which type of vaccine does CVS in Texas use right now?

FYI-they just dropped a bunch of shots for the South Congress Avenue store on Thursday and Friday.  Literally dozens to hundreds of slots open and you can book both shots in one link.

+rep.  Been trying to get my mother who turns 65 in less than three weeks a shot since they dropped in December.  She’s struck out and had appointments cancelled on her more times than I can count.  Got her all scheduled for this Thursday.

  5. Okay- for the uninitiated please help me one last time.  I’ve been #TeamOutdoorWrap for the last five days.  So far, so good.

I cut the water line to the house earlier since the pressure is nearly nill now and have all indoor faucets still “on”.   The outdoor spigots are still wrapped to the tits.

Do I unwrap the outdoor and relieve any pressure which may exist, or keep them wrapped these last 24-36 hours until the temperature exceeds 32°?

Can’t you just put it on the porch until the power comes back?

I threw everything from the fridge in the yeti late yesterday thinking the freezer would be okay.

Problem is, the second bottle of wine put me to sleep sometime around 10pm and by the time I awoke from my little catnap, it was 715 am and the entire contents of the freezer had gone temperate.

This one is on me fellas.

The wine wasn’t even that good.

Targeting would make me ragey, but I like the rest. I also like the dirty recruiting aspect, although I highly doubt the NCAA would allow it to be in game.

    How about:

    recruiting momentum

    secret visits from committed players

9.95 dickheads screwing up said secrets

    signing day flips

coaching dynasty to go with team dynasty

    cheating Scandals and NCAA penalties

    locker room chemistry

    players opting out of bowls

    Covid outbreaks

    Rona stadiums

Player gets to choose Terry Saban’s realtor for the Lake Austin house hunting every offseason.

Yea, what in the world is that accent?  I’ve spent years trying to place it.
