  1. One of many reasons we won't show up to a debate against the dem candidate.
  2. I think it'll just be Romney that votes for witnesses.
  3. NTSB investigators said the helicopter, which crashed into a hillside, also lacked a terrain avoidance warning system, something the transportation safety agency also has long recommended be standard. The pilot missed clearing the hill by 20 to 30 feet, investigators said Tuesday. In 2017, the FAA told the NTSB it was seeking to perform a cost-benefit analysis. But the agency said it was required to demonstrate to the White House budget office that the safety benefits of new regulations outweigh their costs and that it was unable “to justify a recorder mandate because the benefits of recorders are difficult to identify and quantify because the absence of a recorder will never cause an accident.” Last year, Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) joined the NTSB’s call after a helicopter crashed into a New York skyscraper, telling the Associated Press the FAA’s failure to act was a “serious concern.”
  4. anyone know how the question days will work?
  5. I didn’t say it would. Again, the only way to reduce congestion is to reduce the amount of single occupant cars.
  6. Thanks but we all know who the real hero is.
  7. It was on camera. That should be in DNC ads this summer.
  8. Why even pay the bill to keep that site up?
  9. Did someone forget to add Hilary?
  10. NTSB Media Briefing by Jennifer Homendy from NTSB * 2 Pratt & Whitney engines * Asked public for photos of the weather in the area witness@ntsb.gov * FBI there to help collect evidence, no criminal investigation. * Circling was to wait for SVFR approval. * Pilot requested flight following to Camarillo. * Pilot told ATC he was climbing to avoid cloud layer, no reply after that. * Last radar contact 9:45am [matches ADS-B] * Another press briefing tomorrow. * NTSB will be on scene for 5 days. Q&A * What is flight following? radar assistance for the flight. * Debris field about 500-600 ft. Fuselage, main rotor, tail in separate places * No black box, no CVR, no FDR. (not required) * Only an ipad for flight planning. * Impact crater is 1085 ft above sea level
  11. Dershowitz Is good.
  12. That was tough. D-wade's was too. Has Shaq gone on camera? I thought he and Kobe were still estranged but his tweets made it sound like they were friends.
  13. A lot about the Bidens.
  14. That might be a stretch.
  15. "Trump stayed home to manage the hurricane Dorian response" ...from the golf course.
  16. "runaway house" lol
  17. Nothing would make me happier if Trump goes off prompter at the state of the union and if he takes his adderal.
  18. Man they threw Kenn Starr out there to just burn the clock.
  19. With the fog that was reported in that area, you would not have to be going fast to avoid getting your roter blades clipped and then all it takes is for the cab to fall a modest amount for everyone to get crushed to death. There was no way that pilot was flying 130 mph in VFR without a landmark. You are going to owe me 1 testicle.
  20. I think this is my favorite SNL alum return.
  21. That’s according to flight data radar tracking. You take that with a giant grain of salt and wait for the info on the vehicle to be analyzed.
  22. We don't know how fast the copter was going. I think it's very unlikely he was moving very fast in those conditions after he lost his landmark of the highway. I assume there is a black box they can analyze to give us a better idea of what was going on.
