  1. the guy appreciates good beer.
  2. I was in Estes Park last week and had a drink at the Stanley Hotel Whiskey Bar where they filmed the “Avalanche Bar” Man Walks on the Moon scene. It was really disappointing that the framed newspaper on the wall (NYT) was not even the same newspaper that was used in the movie (Denver Post).
  3. tigers were out homered 7-0. first time in MLB history a team was out homered by 7 and won. it’s only happened twice with a 6 homer differential.
  4. that’s the worst hat i’ve ever seen
  5. I found this article to be pretty interesting as a garden oaks resident, former lawyer guy, baseball lover, dad, and local business owner who would benefit from even more population density. https://www.theleadernews.com/sports/youth-organizations-spar-over-baseball-field/article_227198fa-d9bc-11eb-85d1-13589522bfa4.html?fbclid=IwAR2qTyUgGeDRRilX9p1qpyCfInEWOTDQWnqO7CFUyApkEH27CU_nyjqwdXU
  6. how the hell does that dude have a verified instagram account?
  7. Falling Rock is closing. makes GABF week in denver a little less special.
  8. most of the guys at the top of the OPS leader board have larger gaps. more accurate to surmise that .829 may be highest OPS for anyone with a .160 BA in the middle of June.
  9. they have enough equipment to brew 4,000 bbl a year but have gone from a high of 635 in 2017 to 440 last year. Appears to me that they massively overspent on equipment and underspent on branding.
  10. Minor edit: Last day at .500 was May 13, 2006 (3518-3518).
  11. April 18, 2006, Astros reach .500 for first time in franchise history (since their inaugural season) at 3507-3507. May 4, 2006, the astros reached 4 games over .500 for franchise history at 3516-3512, the high-water mark for franchise history. May 14, 2006, the Astros began the day at 3523-3523 all-time, but would lose and fall below .500. They've been below .500 since.
  12. What are the best craft beer bars around Austin these days? If I was considering making a one-off delivery trip to town, which places should I reach out to? Could probably only fit kegs for 5-6 joints in our modest van. I’ve got a couple of buddies that are investors in Great Heights who live in Austin, plus I just think it would be cool to put some of our stuff out there and I could expense a quick trip.
  13. i don’t know if you’re going to be putting this headset on again
