  1. I have a Sig 10mm with the 5” barrel, it’s a bunch of gun.
  2. I spend lots of time in Owl Drug too, they typically have great pie. Several years ago they had a very cute girl that ran the front part of the store and was the cashier, wished she was still there.
  3. The squared off corner style are better in my opinion, they get stuff out of the corners when it comes time to clean. Plus, I use the end to cut stuff and the rounded corners don’t work as well.
  4. My wife makes green beans that look identical to those. She cooks them in boiling water with butter, S&P, chopped garlic and chopped onion. When they get cooked, she puts them in an ice bath, dumps the cooking water and puts the green beans back in the hot Dutch oven and adds more of the same seasonings above. The Dutch oven is still warm from the boiling water but she doesn’t add heat to the pot. That make sense?
  5. I love a pot of butter beans and ham with skillet cornbread.
  6. I really like the damascus material. My wife bought me a custom damascus fixed blade with Texas prickly pear scales, it’s pretty cool. I will post a picture in just a few. I really don’t want to edc it though. Here it is. Cactus and mesquite with the damascus, not sure if this guy makes his own damascus or just buys it. He’s here in Texas https://chopsknives.com/portfolio
  7. Got a picture of that Damascus knife?
  8. Yeah Mills County too. Hey, I ate at the Cattle Drive Cafe last week, it was damn good. Just had a burger with onion rings but both were damn good. Anxious to try the CFS and other offerings.

  16. Love all the answers, biggest punch in my arsenal is the 45-70, it’s a beast for sure. I have the Marlin in S/S, prolly had it 15 years, crazy what they are bringing now $$$! That 45-70 pistol is badass!
  17. That’s cool, they had to have known each other.
  18. If you could seriously only have one caliber of rifle and finding ammo wasn’t an issue what would it be? Mine would be the 25-06, I love that round.

  20. My great great great…. Grandfather. He started a baptist church south of McGregor in the 1850’s.

  22. We used to field dress where they fell, the processor we use now is ten minutes from the ranch and charges an extra $10 to gut em. I let him do everything now.
  23. And cost double what you thought you would save doing it yourself. Good news is, you probably got some new tools out of the deal.
