  1. I don't remember why you are on ignore, but fuck. There is no single group that people hate on more then Texas centers going back to the early 2000s. There is no understanding of what they do, what they are asked to do, what makes a good one or what people are looking for. This fucking website would have had posters calling for Frederick to be benched because he played LG in his second year before flipping back to C as a junior.

Agreed! He's fucking cooked. Age comes for us all. Should have retired after AD21 btw
  3. Suprised he can watch YouTube on his dial up internet.
  4. I'll believe it happens when they actually start moving dirt, which they still haven't as far as I know. Got announced in 2023, this summer they updated and said they were going to open in November 2026 lol The development (The Sycamore) has an Instagram and FB page that hasn't been updated a single time since November 2023 when it was first announced.
  5. Alla Campagna is the sweet spot for you with those two choices. Concept is northern Italian steakhouse. Look up a reservation. Prometheus Pizza is better. Small menu w specials but it's absolutely a better option. Wine and beer only. Awesome owners, very much a local favorite and the number one place I recommend for people when they want a dinner in town. The only steak on their menu is likely to be steak frites https://www.prometheus-pizza.com/ Jack's chophouse is the newest thing in town in the steakhouse category. They struggled a ton early on w consistency and they still do today. Look up a reservation. I think they dry age in house. Bella sera and pasta Bella are both meh. Hill and Vine I want to like but have had a ton of bad experiences there and will not return. Heard great things about the steaks at The Restaurant at The Albert but bad things about the rest of their menu (great bar though) Bars: The hotel bar at the albert is probably the right answer if you want an actual cocktail. 78624 The Bar is also a good choice, haven't been in a while. If you love mezcal then Casa Chloe has a ton of options and is worth a stop. Coffee: Kaffe Haus if you want to sit or Caliche if you are a coffee snob. Sure Shot (coffee trailer) if you are in a hurry and on your way out of town. Breakfast: Top Donuts is the best option for donuts/Kolaches. Tacos Machete is best breakfast taco thats consistently open, and they have a great salsa bar. Hildas is fine BUT they have a drive through. Texas Sunrise is a great option, not cheap, but you get a lot of good food. They get BUSY. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have more specific recs/questions.

  7. Maybe their AD is secretly Silky Johnson?
  8. This is genuinely the biggest issue with the committee. It's a bunch of old heads almost all of whom have specific ties to teams and schools or conferences that are relevant year after year. There is NO accountability. I'd rather go back to the BCS style of ranking than continue this bullshit one more year. 12 folks. Six sitting ADs (Nebraska, Utah, Middle Tenn, Miami Ohio, Virginia, Arkansas). Two former ADS. Two former coaches. One writer (Ivan Maisel) and one former player (Wesley Walls.) Having half of your group be existing, sitting ADs is a truly incredible conflict of interests - yeah they "recuse" themselves but who believes that.
  9. What kind of food do you like or dislike? Kids or no kids? I've put in a ton of reviews in the thread but will share some more customized ones for you!

The fact he is tied for the most wins when the McLaren has been a monster is wild.

    Truly feel bad for LEC
  17. significantly harder schedule - @Bama, @OU, @LSU, @Missou. get Tenn and Texas at home.
  18. yeah, the fact they need IOL guys vs OT is a GIGANTIC positive - significantly easier to find OGs vs OTs Robertson has another year and can battle out w/ Cruz maybe one of Brooks, Kibble grow into a starter. haven't seen anything about Cojoe and his recovery so you are likely hitting the portal for like 1-2 guys (IOL) vs that 3-4 that was mentioned above.

how are they so bad at picking tracks for sprints? outside of ALO dropping down, how many passes happened after lap 1? "let's just make every sprint race a shitty version of Monaco without the glitz where literally all that matters is quali and the first 30 seconds of the race"
  20. look guys, AJ Milwee is going to be pushed out about the time Sark stops calling plays it isn't going to happen. stop talking about it. stop considering it.
  21. if he is even half as insufferable in real life as he is in snippets on the ticket, i think everyone in his life greatly dislikes him.
  22. flipping from Texas to the 4-7 fighting Hudson's is certainly a choice.

got a buddy who lives on the west side of 29 west of Georgetown that I'm meeting for BBQ after Christmas. Assuming flexibility on hours and days, anywhere in this square west of 35 between Georgetown and say Lakeway I should consider? The likelihood is we end up going to Interstellar, because duh, but really open to any BBQ spots in the area that are worth a stop that we may have not been to recently or that are new?
