  2. Yes. I expected more from a true freshman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Perhaps. I guess if frost thought they had a play that would work, he'd have run it. Should have punted it and kept the timeout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. OSU piled 4 guys right over center. NU doesn't run sneaks in this offense. Old Nebraska would have gotten 3 yards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. They would not have made a sneak. Dumb call either way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Look up "tongue in cheek".
  12. Too much throwback. Why doesn't anyone go to the future:
  13. It's not the "odds people", it's the people laying down money.
  14. https://247sports.com/Article/Nebraska-football-winless-season-isnt-as-bad-as-it-looks-123487953/ Yay?
  15. I miss the days when I could flip over to a game and immediately know who was playing, even when the score was not being shown. Get off my lawn?
  16. Not quite as easy as calling "Ranked-Teams-R-Us" before the season and scheduling a game. And good luck getting a name school (one highly likely to be ranked when the time comes) to add them to their non-conference schedule at this point.
  17. Minor correction: it's Jollibee (not Wallybee). Great if you feel like a meal of a fast food hamburger and spaghetti ...
  18. Because Matt Canada could not have possibly had any inkling of the culture inside the program ...
  19. Sadly, I've seen this already in my children's lives. And we're talking about high school in this case, and sports far from what football is in Texas. People that are supposed to provide examples and lead young people, who are in reality some of the worst examples possible.
  20. I was right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. A Whiskey Rebellion is nice when it's warm: 1 ounce of Pimm’s #1, 1 ounce of rye, ¾ ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice and ¾ ounce of simple syrup. Shake with ice, pour into glass over ice.
  22. We still pick a couple of Hot 'n Ready pies on the rare occasion when we have no desire to cook anything, and we are passing by on the way home. Kids like it, it's cheap, and it is passably good enough. I enjoy the pepperoni most. No, not the best thing you'll ever eat, but far better than a lot of stuff I've paid more for.
  23. Go on ...
  24. Unfortunately, yes. Travel, late, next to hotel, and one of the few things on the menu that sort of went along with my diet plan at that time. Not because I thought I'd get a good steak.
  25. I ate at a Ruby Tuesday's in Tempe last year. Easily among the top 10 worst meals of my life. I had a sirloin (doing the slow carb diet thing), and they probably used 8 oz of butter for the 8 oz steak. Everything else was likewise drenched in butter. You might think that would be a good thing. It was not.
