I'm looking forward to the 9/4 kickoff at 3:30. I'll be in loge suite in the SEZ with a fully stocked fridge, under shade, with monitors, and immediate access to free food and booze
You keep using that word ‘free’; I don’t think it means what you think it means...

He won’t bring anything of value back, could be cash or a low-level body. If he does come up for KD’s spot, he’ll rarely play except for PR & late-game defense.
Which is more that we get out of Krush...

If you’re an early enrollee and go to summer school full time it’s normal. I worked summers to have some money for the fall and summer. If UT was picking up the tab I would’ve graduated a year and a half early.
Yeah this is how all of these dudes do it; those 12 hours of summer school add up.
Still, good on all of these guys for getting their degree, much less doing it early. The window of people giving a fuck about your well-being the day you don’t benefit them closes fast; good for them of being out of the room at that time....

The OSU bus trip has officially become an urban legend. I can assure you, the total actual losses involved were no where near that number. More like $1,000-$2,000 IIRC.

Yeah that’s my recollection too; not so much an intentional fucking as general fuckup-ery...

It happened in Fayetteville in 2004 also. Guess we’re due again in 2024...

I have fantasized a few times over the years about how good the 2008 Horns team would have been if JC had stuck around (I think they were the best team in the country that year even without him). One of my all-time favs.
You think they were the best team in the country because we WERE the best team in the country...

Smart move on his part. Get it behind him, serve his 6 game suspension, and get traded to a team for a fresh start. I am not absolving him of his behavior, I am merely commenting on his best path forward to continuing what was once a very promising career. Maybe the Texas can load up on draft picks now next year. I wish he had just done this 5 months ago when he knew it was coming so the Texans could have traded with some QB desperate teams this year. There may not be as many next year.
Shit man it’s the NFL; there’s always QB-hungry teams.
The Jets, Giants, Lions, and Dolphins have two first rounders and the Eagles have three. Outside of the Jets you could see all of those teams being in the market for a QB next year. Obviously the best scenario is Jalen Hurts to suck shit but the rest of their roster to play well enough to convince them that a good QB is all they need. 4 1st round picks would be a hell of a jumpstart to a rebuild for a good front office; maybe we’ll see what a bad one can do with them...

Can never have enough TE’s
I don’t see too many wins on that schedule.
Thursday night game against the panthers might draw the lowest viewers everFor a good team that’s a great schedule. 5 of your last 7 at home, the only cold-weather cities you play in are in mid September and the first week in October.
For a dogshit team it doesn’t really matter...

This may not be a great team, but they definitely play as a team. Fun to watch....

This is true but do you honestly see any of the names on next year's draft list as worthy of a top-five pick on talent alone? None of them look like future NFL first rd picks like Watson, Mahomes, Tua, or Burrow. I suppose Burrow does prove your point though because his draft stock heading into his junior season wasn't anywhere close to the overall #1 pick.
Neither Watson nor Mahomes were top-5 picks; a year before he was drafted, the latter was considered a fringe 1st rounder at best...
-
Fuck you, DeShaun. It’s bad enough we have no picks in this draft, but because you can’t get your freak on like a normal 25 year old multi millionaire, we have to lead off by taking a fucking QB?
Fuck you, DeShaun....

I hate the idea of at large teams because:
1. Involves some type of committee/formula
2. Wins late in the season mean more than wins early in the season
3. Incentive for shitty/marginal non-conference scheduling
