Delino and Emmanuel Clase going back

Think Clase is going to be a good one, but it takes something to get something; Delino is going to be what he always has been.  If Kluber is healthy this gives us a really good top 3 of the rotation...

  2. The amazing thing to me about the whole VY/Mack/GDGD thing was how clearly you can pinpoint when it happened.  Halfway through his sophomore year VY had the ‘great runner, can’t pass’ tag and we were coming off two straight games where we got shut out (OU) and VY got benched (Mizzou).

We went to Lubbock that year with our tail between our legs and rudderless.  We scored 51 points that night, won 21 straight games and didn’t take shit from any motherfuckers at all.  That was all because of one man (with a  lot of help from some other bad mofos, to be sure)....

You are correct.  So many idiots will insist on making college football more about the playoffs than the regular season.  When we have 5 undefeated teams at the end of the regular season then maybe someone will have a legitimate gripe.  Until then don’t lose a game and you won’t have any issues making a four team playoff.  Keep the focus on the regular season because that’s what make college football better than any other sport.

    Fuckin 100% this....

  4. The best way to solve all of this is to form 4 16-team, football-only conferences which each have a CCG, with the 4 winners going to the playoff.  No more rankings/beauty contest, it’s just like every pro sport where it’s totally cut and dried who makes it and who doesn’t.  It not only eliminates the subjectivity but also allows you to preserve traditional rivalries.  Best of all, you aren’t penalized at all for losing out of conference, so we might actually return to the good old days where you saw a lot of great matchups on September....

  5. Yeah Uber is a cluster.  Try La Concha around the intersection of North Stadium Drive, just north of the Holiday Inn that sits on the north edge (I know, a lot of north) of the NRG lots.  There’s a lot of one-story small office parks in that area that let you park for like $20, and it’s usually pretty easy getting out as long as you’re not headed to 610...

my first UT game was bluebonnet bowl v air force, at rice stadium. met earl campbell too

    ut lost

Lulz that was the bowl game at the end of my freshman year.  We got beat, I lost my wallet at the game, and several drunken hours later I got a panel van sliding door slammed on my hand in the parking lot of the Yucatán Liquor Stand.

    Good times....

Just having a full complement of healthy DBs has made all the difference for the defense, and yes, Hargreaves has contributed.

Hargreaves definitely; Conley’s given up a couple of plays but also has had some nice breakups.  Totally agree that just having more healthy bodies back there has made a huge difference....

IIRC (which I may not cuz Jim Beam) yes, just like Duv and Patrick Hudson

Jim beam? Man I was young once too.

But now that you’re older you drink shit that douchebags on message boards tell you you should drink?

  9. You add a real QB (like Teddy Bridgewater) to this Denver team and they’ve got something going.  Once healthy their D is legit, their RB committee works, and Courtland Sutton is a monster.....
