Was it like the worst toilet in Scotland?Fortunately I ingested my suppository hours earlier and didn’t have to go swimming…

There has to be at least one Surly who had to take a Cotton Bowl shit. That would be the ultimate nightmare.
I did it the year we knocked Bradford out of the game; I’ll just let loose in my pants before I ever do it again…

Yeah that was unexpected. I was able to text photos to my parents/family on my 5g phone with very little delay. It was crazy good.
The best thing about the heat is I was able to drink like 5 bottles of water before and during the game and didn't have to piss once
Oh, you were pissing; it was just way more decentralized than it usually is…

Well my wife's still pissed at me for being so salty after the loss, so that's something different.
What did she expect after such a hot day? To be fair, next time maybe you should shower beforehand…

3-1 in best of 5 is real fucking strong.
Lol yeah that was weak…

Love to see a bunt there. When you’re trying to take a 3-1 lead in the playoffs you stop listening to the stat geeks….

I don't get why everyone is so hung up on it. It wasn't on purpose. It was a freak thing but not that different than a regular ground rule double.
Except that it’s a ball in fair territory that a fielder had a chance to make a play on and instead caused the ball to go into the stands. Like I said above, I don’t think that should fall under the same set of rules as a batted fair ball curving down the line that ends up under a tarp. The defensive player should be held to a one-base higher standard than the tarp…

That same play will never happen again but it’s enough for me to advocate a rules modification to introduce the ground rule triple. Shouldn’t be a four-bagger, but if you (even though unintentional) somehow defensively put the ball out of play in fair territory, that shouldn’t be the same as a ball down the line rolling under the tarp…

Can anyone do that for the 1992 Baylor game?
That was far more egregious than the 2015 OSU game. There were at least 3 calls in that game worse than the Poona play. Fuck Grant Teaff and his cronies…

we have to win some more games before we start worrying about that.
This is true; we have no shot at making the CCG with a 2-7 conference record…

Well, I’m not trying to drop some advanced meteorological analysis. I’m just saying, in general, I feel like an extra week could help. Late October is generally cooler than early October.
The game was played on the first Saturday of October in 2010. Why not the third Saturday?
it wouldn’t matter if they played in the middle of January; game day would be 93 and not a cloud in the sky, the weekend before or after would be 72, nice breeze and partly cloudy

people forget route 66 was so bad due to turnovers. 5 of them. they scored 66 points with less than 400 yards
miami was an ass kicking
Miami was by far the worst beat down of any of the games listed; from literally the first play of the game (when Chris Samuels got knocked out cold) they shit in the middle of our living room, shoved our faces in it, and told us and the entire country exactly what they were doing….

Given that temp I guess we should move the game to late August?Texas / OU in the Cotton Bowl, 2nd Saturday in October, is simply fantastic. The Bowl needs some work, okay. Big deal. You have a problem with crowds / concessions? Get there earlier. The weather? it's Texas, you faggots. It can be 90 one day and 40 the next in October. Remove your tampon and appreciate the beauty of this event.Dear lord.
2000, but agree on all counts…

I would imagine the move to the SEC would bring pressure to make it a home/home
Why would the SEC give a fuck if both schools want to keep playing there?

One of my friend’s brought up a good question yesterday, “Why does OU get the end of the stadium by the tunnel every year?”
I truly have no answer and have accepted it since I was a kid growing up in Dallas in the 80s and going to this game almost every year.
She and her husband sit in the Cotton Bowl Association seats above the tunnel, below the upper deck every year, and said it helped changed the momentum at the half.
is there a reason?
Fuck sitting on that half of the stadium. I did it for our Mack-era Cotton Bowl games and I felt dirty afterwards….
-
Mills actually looks alright today; OLine is giving him a little more time. He’s clearly not the answer, but hopefully he can at least be an above-average backup and get something out of that 3rd round pick…

Everyone I’ve talked to that’s been to the fair this year says there is little to no enforcement of the masks inside rules.
I am in the food court now and there are literally no people wearing masks

Well Bijan isn’t going to be here for four years, nor will Zach Evans at TCU for four years, will he, Gary?
Actually we’re pretty much at the midpoint of Bijan’s UT career. He keeps getting this many carries, we’re at the three-quarters mark of Evans’ TCU career…

Dvoracek was giggling bc it was him who ear-holed Simms after a Sooner interception.
Yeah he was laughing about that the same way we laugh about drew kelson laying out Joel Klatt. No problem with either, it was a different time (even though both were rightfully penalized)…

We sure that they are honored at the vendor level this year? After the Iron Mountain "shredding" fiasco they initially required old tickets to be exchanged at the business office from 9-5 M-F. I wouldn't count on using old coupons Saturday. They took them last year (Covid year)...

What, if anything is different because of the loss to OU Saturday?
