Calm the fuck down you dumb motherfucker. I already apologized to those affected .  And they don’t need your blessed ass sticking up for them.  I can assure you that.  I was wearing pink shoes to school after ‘86 so why don’t you stfu about the pains this industry can dish out.  Bitch.

My bad and apologies.  Eastwood's post was the last post on the previous page and when I saw your post I went into "ill advised rant" mode.  Not trying to suck up, because who gives a shit?  But I've liked your posts for years

Then lately it seems you come across as bragging about timing things so perfectly (but hell, it's the surl, right?) then you make a snarky comment about us 'serfs'.  I went after it before scrolling down to see your follow up.

    Again, my bad.

The rebalancing could be a net buy OR a net sell. Here's what I would do: on Tuesday in the last 5 minutes of the trading day if the market is moving your way, get out. Don't wait til after the close or til the next day. Do it right away. If in the last 5 minutes it's moving away from you just stay in it and see what happens Wednesday.

When I'm playing with these unpinned hand grenades like SOXL I keep the position so small that if it runs up 30% I'm not going to get rich and if it crashes 50% no big deal.  But if we have a good run during the day then a pullback at the end I'm willing to consider adding to my position and put a stop at my break even.  Normally I don't put stops because I keep the position size so small in relation to my overall account.  I use these fuckers to skim $500 intraday or shoot for $800 to $1,000 if I carry it overnight / weekend.  Win or lose is not going to change my lifestyle either way.

I got laid off last year. I just hadn’t found anything. I was trying to pivot away from IT manager stuff to Project Manager and it took a while to find something. I had applied at some O & G companies, but I started a new job with IT company here in The Woodlands today. I’m glad to be out of the oil field for good. I don’t know that I’ll ever take another job with an O & G company again.

Well done good man, well done.  I got dumped out of the oilfield back in the late 90's bust ('98? or so).  Vowed I would never go back, but hey 2003 until today I've been back.  This time when I get dumped I figure that will be it because over 40 and all.

Can we change the title to ‘Hey, Oil Serfs......’?

Fuck you.  There's a lot of hard working people and others like me that waste all their time on the internet that weren't lucky enough to cash in their 401k's at 2,850 (as you fucking remind us about constantly) and buy put options immediately after and cash those in at the absolute bottom like yourself.

    Two words.

    FUCK

    YOU

Do you go outside to get some sunshine and fresh air daily?

This is a must.  When I don't get out and about I feel like shit and am grouchy as hell even when things are actually going ok.  Yesterday was a prime example.

Today, I was outside from about 10:00 AM until 5:30 PM and never felt better.  Hotter than hell, but damn that Vitamin D tho.

  6. Senator Warren can fill pretty much any and all cabinet positions better than any one in dotard’s.  We can save a small fortune by letting her run all the departments while letting some grizzled old white guy serve as the ribbon cutter in chief.

It’s funny people here saying there is a lot of profit taking going on in the market. Recency bias much?

Lot of traders are just that; traders not investors.  A couple of days is eternity for them and they account for a lot of volume.  Profit taking is definitely a factor; that's why dead cat bounces happen.

  8. I've had some fun the last couple of weeks day-trading highly volatile leveraged ETFs.  I wouldn't be able to do that from my office.

This is about the only "fun" I've had.  Going to wash my car today and leave it parked in the garage until this next batch of rain passes.  Some hate washing their car, for me it's pretty darn therapeutic so I'm looking forward to it.  Once I get that fucker all shined up I plan to mix up some margaritas and sit out in the backyard enjoying the day.  I'm easily satisfied.

This thread is active enough as it is.  There is an entire other board over there for politics.  Please take your politics over there and leave the rest us to lose money in peace.

YOu don't think the Prime Minister of the UK catching this virus will move markets?  Politics got nothing to do with it.
