2 out if 3 while missing Springer most of the series and a non-existent Altuve is not bad.

Sipp didn't screw up. I'll take it.

Edit: Also, Arlington is making a Han Gallo bobblehead. Han Solo's torso and Joey Gallo's head. No shit.
Gallo looks like the dust covered peanut M&M I found when cleaning under the couch the other day.

Can’t spell Jake Marisnick without two K’s.

Sexy Stassi.

Gattis for Series MVP and it isn’t close.

What the fuck is wrong with Altuve?

I agree Rose is no where near the greatest hitter of all time despite the number of hits he got. But it got me thinking about who would be the GOAT. Ted Williams probably?
I’m mid 40’s so didn’t see guys from the Williams, DiMaggio, Mays, Mantle era but in my time I would say Tony Gwynn.

Ramadan is actually pretty cool. I celebrate it on the down-low, because I'm not Muslim, and I don't really care to get into giant philosophical conversations with people simply because I'm fasting for a month. I'm closer to Taoist, actually, but the Sufi writers all pretty much were Taoist, too. I skip out on the ritual prayers of my Muslim friends, of course, and do yoga during prayer times. Because I'm a theological mutt.
Meanwhile, Mother's Day was originally an anti-war day of protest, not a Hallmark scam. What it has become is merely symptomatic of what everything in modern culture has become.
You're weird.

More like $86 per day after taxes and daycare and medical and dental. That probably comes out to about $130 per day before deductions. And that equates to the low $30Ks for the year.
Which is complete shit.

The people sitting in the seats I had bought, but Stubhub cancelled caught a foul ball that bounced back down. It's the only one I've ever seen land in that section. Double fuck Stubhub.
If it’s any consolation, you would have dropped it.

Gallo needs to get beaned today.

His “Fuck Philly” rant is one of the greatest things ever.

When my son was about two, we would go to the Starbucks across the street so he could get his butter cake fix. I would get a cup of coffee and snag a week's worth of brown napkins on the way out.
We also have the drawer full of Taco Bell packets.

At one point in my life I worked for two of those companies (different times). I still log on using company email address to buy ink with those discounts. I still hate spending the money. Ink and toner... Oh, and I gave two printers away because the price of ink was too expensive because they were too old. Cheaper to buy a new one (wait for manufacturer and distributor discount cycles for a sub $30 purchase cost) get the included ink and buy new ink.
I really try not to print at all.
I print at work.
I thought everyone did. I haven't had a home printer in three years.

My kid is graduating high school in a couple of weeks. Close family is coming in the weekend before (Labor Day weekend) and we are having a party for 15 or so at Salt Lick. Just my in-laws are staying over for the ceremony 3 days later. He is free to go out with his friends for after graduation parties.
Labor Day is not a couple of weeks away.

Rematch of a game last September between Verlander and Richards. Astros won 3-0 in a game that was 0-0 going into the bottom of the 7th.
I hate Richards; he seems to give us fits.
