Boundaries is a really dumb fucking way to decide a match.

Maybe the ICC will go even more full regard for the 2023 WC and decide any ties with the two captains playing a round of rock, paper, scissors.

Absolute fucking insanity. Boundaries is a really dumb fucking way to decide a match. But still, between this and the Wimbledon final, that's a fuckload of sporting drama for one 45-minute period in one city.

    Wow.

Fuck England / United Nations XI

I wonder who's going to win Man of the Tournament award... All three of the favourites heading into the SFs (Rohit Sharma, David Warner, Mitchell Starc) have performed horribly in their SF matches.

    Why not?

Roy just went beast-mode. Three consecutive sixes off of Steve Smith.

This is over. We'll have a first-time World Cup champion on Sunday.

I'll be at the Kiwi Bar on Soi 8 in Bangkok for that one with my Kiwi buddy.  I fear the Black Caps are going to get shit stomped, but it will be a blast none the less.

Mitchell Starc's getting proper brutalized. Best bowler of the tournament heading into knockouts, and he's been smashed for 38 runs in four overs.

He sucked against South Africa as well.  I wonder if he ran out of gas?

Cutting checks is not something I agree with, but other forms mentioned above seem a better, and potenially more successful way of helping right the wrongs of slavery and Jim Crow.

And when the debate switches to the other forms you will rail against them too because, “muh taxes”.

    hey, i've got a csb:

Before I ever heard of Home Depot, we had a warehouse place called "Home Base".  It was a membership deal like costco.  In the early 80's, membership was 20 bucks or so, but in those days, it was unheard of to have a place where you could get windows, roofing, insulation, copper, etc under one roof.  Before that it was the lumberyard for wood, the plumbing supply house, the electrical supply house, etc.  So, if you worked in general construction, it was awesome.

Anyway, I was young, 18 or so.  Working MWFS, taking classes T-TH with the occasional night class mixed in.  College Freshman.  Working for a GC doing remodels, additions, and in those days, 2 or 3 custom homes a year.

So,, after a 6 am start, we roll into Home Base as we're moving from one jobsite to another.   We're hungry, and Home Base had a kickass hotdog stand in the parking lot.  I'm working for a guy,  for our purposes he's named "Jensen".   He and I are in line at the hotdog stand, and, from across the parking lot, one of Jensen's friendly rivals (another GC) hollers at the top of his voice: "Hey Jensen...Tell 'em you like your hotdog with a big gob of mayo right on the end".

    TL/DR construction guys are classy.

Are you going to share the csb at some point?

  8. In reference to the graphic you posted about what happens in washouts, it would be so fitting if AUS vs ENG get washed out and AUS advance without playing a single ball.  It would serve the ECB right for shitty tournament organization the first half of the tournament and blatant changes to the pitches once England was on the brink.
