History doesn't mean jack shit unless it expands gun rights.
  2. Higher costs, particularly groceries and housing, with higher interest rates.
  3. God isn't this the fucking truth.
  4. Because to be properly charged and arrested for a crime, there needs to be some indication that the elements are met. My hypothetical is related to what "harbor" and "conceal" mean. I'm open to the possibility that she concealed him, but that would be a very broad definition that is troubling to me. You seem okay with it though.
  5. Why do you think this is an answer to my hypothetical?
  6. Yes and I'm not defending her actions. You're claiming what she did violated the statute and you just keep saying it over and over and over and over.
  7. If I see a guy I know walking down the street and say "hey, there are cops around the corner," did I harbor or conceal him?
  8. Yes I linked the statute earlier. Do you have any analysis to share, or are you just going to keep posting conclusions?
  9. So what is the argument that the Judge did violate the statute?
  10. Why do you think she "clearly" aided the defendant? What is your analysis? And what about the rest of the elements?

  14. This is a conclusion. How did you get there?
  15. Here are the statutes: Concealing: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1071 Obstruction: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1505 I'm not a criminal lawyer, and have no idea what I'm talking about with respect to federal criminal law in general, but both charges seem tenuous to me. How is what she did harboring or concealing him? Maybe the obstruction charge is better, but how did she act corruptly? I wonder if there's a state law civil claim in Wisconsin for malicious criminal prosecution, and if that can be asserted for a federal prosecution.
  16. I think they are beginning realize they are suckers.
  17. Still can't believe this fat fuck got elected President.
  18. I don't know where you are in your faith, but as a former Christian it's hard to describe how enlightening it is to rid yourself of all the falsities and general bullshit. I'd encourage you to read the Bible and consider if any of it could possibly be true and if the god it describes is worth worshipping in the first place.
  19. Honestly I can't think of anything more American than this.
  20. Yeah it's hard to take seriously someone who votes for Trump and calls themselves a "Christian."
  21. It's harder to stay indoctrinated the older you are.
