  1. The chapter on FoxNews in history books 100 years from now is gonna be something else.  These screenshots will bring up the emotions we all have seeing civil rights protest pics.  The best (worst) is these dumb motherfuckers don't realize (or are proud) that they're the smiling hillybilly pointing at the hanging negro.  Yeah, that's you, motherfuckers.  Your family will be embarrassed of your existence from here til eternity.
I look forward to my son interviewing my MAGA brother in 10 years for a school project on politics like I interviewed Uncles about Vietnam. Except my son will just laugh in his fucking face.
  2. He is consistently tweeting negative comments towards our allies, Germany being one of the latest in his line of sight. Is this more of his (or someone in his administration) isolationist policy to pi** off those nations?
    Policy!

Ha ha holy shit I'm laughing.

Yeah this fool has clear well thought out policy and a plan of attack to implement.

I fucking hate when the media tries to analyze his insane ramblings. "What do you think Trump is really trying to say here?"
  3. This is Fox News Laura Ingraham
This is also a Sam Nunberg article, yes, that Sam Nunberg.
    snip:

In 2016, Trump’s last two presidential debates were critical factors in his miraculous and historical comeback. While Trump should have the advantage in three cage matches with an older and less sharp Joe Biden, Warren will take Trump to the woodshed piece by piece on policy while jabbing and needling Trump on his personal deficiencies. If Trump goes low, Warren is ready to get into the mud. It remains to be seen if Trump can handle that combination.

The last four presidents each won with a distinct type of populism and change message. In 2020, Trump is promising Keep America Great — a pure base strategy. Warren counters with a combination of aspiration and quick economic government fixes for multiple and distinct voting groups. Warren goes grievance for grievance with Trump while promising to make society fair and just. Combined with palpable swing-voter Trump fatigue, Warren’s professorial demeanor and boring personality also delivers on the “return to normalcy” that Republican suburban women crave.

In 2016, Trump was the political anomaly who fit the mood of the country. He also launched his candidacy “at the right time, right place.” Warren would certainly be a flawed candidate against a prototypical Republican. But the country’s mood is changing. And this time, Warren is the one selling what the disenchanted are buying. And much like Trump had Clinton in 2016, Warren’s weaknesses this time around help make Trump her perfect foil.

Trump better be prepared. With Pocahontas on the war path, her sharp arrows will sting. Trump, who likens himself to the modern-day Andrew Jackson, could ironically find his Trail of Tears in the Oklahoma-born and Native American-wannabe Elizabeth Warren.

Go read the twitter comments. "Pocahontas, she lied she will lie again!! MAGA

    The hypocrisy is mind blowing.
  4. Don't get me wrong, I still have people that are (older) friends of friends that I want to call out their hypocrisy so badly, but at best, it would be a pyrrhic victory.
    Examples such as:
"These mass shooters better hope they don't start shooting someplace where I am, I have my CCL, and I will put a stop to any attempts at mass murder"
Narrator: Bullshit. You would run and hide for cover like everyone else, pulling out a pistol to have a firefight with someone wielding an AR isn't going to go well for you.
"The recession won't matter to me! I was smart and lived below my means for years, anyone hurt by the recession basically deserves it."
Narrator: Seeing the constant stream of "I got mine, fuck you and yours" get tiring.

I'm an older millennial, but my wife and I have both figured out that it's going to be up to Gen X/Millennials to fix the world. It feels like we are seeing the last vestiges of Boomer political power. I honestly can count on both hands the amount of Trump supporters in my age group that I know. If Gen X/Millennials actually get out to vote, it should be a landslide Dem victory next election.
There is a whole fuck load of younger trump voters, single issue voters and your Tex Ag, Katy dwelling hunter types who ignore politics largely then vote straight R.

Lots of decent people on some level who have no clue and wouldn't know where to begin if they wanted to become more informed.
Work 50 hrs a week, mow that big ass yard wash the financed F250 and feed three kids while keeping Charlene happy and getting drunk at the lease on the weekend IS a fulltime gig.

  5. To put a finer point on it, their anti-intellectualism is part and parcel of their hopelessness.  They cannot be reached because they cannot be reasoned with.  An intelligent, educated person will consider new, conflicting information and occasionally change their minds.  A Trumpkin is incapable of doing so.
Good qualities in a person: compassion, empathy, open-mindedness, use of reason and logic, willingness to shift perspective when given new information, constant self evaluation for blind spots and self education.

The rubes gleefully reject all of these things. There is no starting point for any dialogue. As someone with many Trumpers as friends and family- they are like keys dropped in lava. They are gone.

They will gleefully follow Trump off the cliff.

  6. Oh so close being perfect!
He's just a right-wing pigeon from outer space
Sent here to destroy the human race
He don't give a damn about you or me
He just rage tweets and watches TV

The man in the White House who just don't care
He starves little kids and he dyes his hair
Now what could make him think that way?
What could make him act that way?

  7. This Nordic cold shoulder treatment would be hilarious except for the scary thought of what this overgrown bully (Trump, not Pence) does when embarrassed. It must kill his narcissistic ego.
He rage tweets and watches TV.

    That's it
  8. Forrest is supposed to have my boat done tomorrow if Jack gets him the prop. I'll probably drive down Friday night, pick the boat up Saturday morning and fish the rest of the day then head home. I'm flying to Florida Sunday for work.
Can you tell him to please get tags for the trailer I purchased three years ago. I'd like to be legal this decade.
That said, I've known him most of my life and he's dropped everything to get me back on the water many times. Good dude.
  9. My Son and I applied mid June, got pre-approved in 3 weeks and interviews in Early August (had to drive to IAH) as Austin was booked until late Sept. Girlfriend applied at the same time and she's not approved yet.

See you a the gate honey!

  10. Feeling more and more like Beto is going to be the VP on Warren's ticket. Which would fucking rule.
That would make me hopeful again. So we'll get Biden and an actual potato instead.
  11.

You're slipping bro. They don't think he cares about them or that he's sacrificing anything for them. They think he's hurting people they don't like (libtards, immigrants, and minorities) and that's more than good enough for them.

Go spend 5 minutes on Twitter. They absolutely think "he's working hard to fight for real Americans like me!"

The amount of idiots still buying the con is staggering.

  12. Let's hope he has some sort of John Grisham character type deal where he gave all the really incriminating evidence to a secretary who has orders to give up the info to a journalist in the event of Epstein's "death".
Why would he do that? In his twisted mind he wasn't doing anything wrong. He's dead so blackmail is kind of useless now.
  13. Brisket, what exactly should as a fellow law abiding gun owning citizen, should I do?  Stronger restrictions, OK.  Black gun ban, OK.  Large cap mag ban, OK.   So who’s got that plan that isn’t going to stifle the rest of my hunting/sporting arms. Drunk and willing to listen.
Create a new NRA that goes back to outreach without hostility and fear?
  14. What's going to be interesting is the self-defense case when someone with a CHL or whatnot drops one of these tiny-dicked dipshits.  Is it reasonable to fear for your life when some shitheel fuckhole with a loaded AR and body armor struts menacingly into a Wal-mart?  Based on the current state of knowledge, I sure as fuck think so.
And hey fellow gun owners -- how does it feel to know that some of our fellow gun owners, acting like pointless terroristic dickheads, are 100% going to cause gun control measures that will flip your lid?  Fucking gun owners -- our own worst enemy.
Or when you have an active rogue CHL shooter and a bunch of CHL shooters are shooting at the shooter too then the cops show up to subdue the original shooter and shoot the CHl hero shooter then his buddy ( the patriot but non LEO shooter gets revenge on the crooked cop shooter) and shoots them.

But you sell lots of guns.
  15. I hope atomheartbevo is right, too. I have to be honest, when I saw the post with the tweet, I said "well how about that?" I have never in my life sent comments boycotting anything but back when Trump told the four Congresswomen to "go back..." I had seen the mediamatters list of advertisers. Our family doesn't buy/use products by most of the companies but two of them. Starkist and Nestle, we do. Wth, I will look them up and reach out because I am beyond upset at how Fox propaganda spews racist rhetoric. Maybe others did likewise. With Nestle I listed every single product in our pantry (I bake): the chocolate chips, the syrup, the chocolate powder, the cocoa, all of it. And told them that it would be no problem for me and other the other suburban moms that I hang with (who bake cookies, brownies and cakes for teachers, etc.) to find other companies. With both companies, I received around mid-July a failry canned response, but maybe just maybe, they are beginning to see that having your product tied to a racist agenda is not going to earn you 'brownie' points with consumers.  Did it make a difference? Probably not, but each little dart eventually brings down the elephant.
I don't watch Fox, and get most of my Fox info from this website or others reporting on them, but they are one of the worst things to come out of cable tv.
I spend 30 min every monday on preset action aimed ar boycotting, writing my reps, tweeting complaints. Keeps me warm.

  16. This could go in so many threads at this point.

George Conway is the biggest masochist alive.

I feel like one supreme dipshit somewhere (Stephan Miller?) Runs this ass shit through a program then sends out inane talking points that somehow work on the intellectually challenged
  17. The democrats didn’t elect trump, they just nominated someone, perhaps one of the one people in the party or perhaps on the planet, who could have lost to that fuckhead. I’ve never understood why you defend her so much.
Sure maybe she got a raw deal and shouldn’t have been as disliked as much as she was. I get that. But the fact remains she was tremendously disliked, right or wrong, and the dems basically rigged the primary to have her win it. How can you believe all what you say about Russia yet somehow deny that obvious fact?
The dems had a layup with plenty of time left to win and chose to shoot a half court shot at the buzzer. They missed and lost. We all did.
Ill agree with you here. And I think the Democratic party is changing back to grassroots candidates that are electable aside from Biden.

I mean why people blame thr GOP for Trump, when we could have had Pence or Cruz. Swell alternative
