  1. As a Black, church was always the one thing you didn’t fuck with when growing up. My dad is a deacon, my mom is very active in the same church, and I have several aunts and uncles who are preachers. With that said, I did everything I could to get out of going to church once I turned old enough to realize what the fuck was going on and started asking questions. At 16, I started working and told my manager to 100% schedule me on sundays because I was available. That was my excuse to stop going to church, and I really haven’t been back since 2001. This has caused a few arguments between me and my parents, but I stood firm on my reasoning and they learned to live with it. There were times where my dad would tell me not to come back home unless I was prepared to go to church on Sundays, and I responded with “okay, I’ll leave and you will never see me here on a Sunday ever again.” Since that conversation, they turned a new leaf because I was serious and yes I packed up my shit that one Sunday morning and headed straight for Houston, no hug no goodbye no nothing. I’m the only person in my family who doesn’t go to church—immediate family, cousins, aunts, uncles etc. I’ve only stepped foot in a church a few times the last 20 years to attend funerals, and that’s it. I won’t go for anything else. My main argument is this—how am I supposed to believe this is a religion that shares all of these stories and fables yet the church is one of the most hateful groups I’ve ever seen? And isn’t judgment of others itself a sin? And I thought there were no degrees of sin, so why does 1 sin outweigh another? Doesn’t your hated of a certain group of people constitute sin and you should be judged as well? No one can answer these for me so I I haven’t been back.
  2. That’s like telling this website they need 1 less drink at the tailgates. 46 drinks is “not so much” as 48
  3. It’s almost like putting a Fox News host who is a drunk and can out drink everyone on this board (and that is saying A LOT) was a bad idea. We are turbofucked
  4. Imagine JV being the last thing you saw before death. So he killed him, right?
  5. And you mofos wonder why I abhor all things the university of Mississippi. And fuck calling it “ole miss” if you knew how that name came to be
  6. He still has no idea what CRT is and how it was never taught in K-12 in any place in America.
  7. Is he not a MS-13?
  8. Pope ended up meeting with JV after all Hopefully JV got his ass beat
  9. Yup, and they get propped up by the radical right so the radicals can claim they aren’t racist. These people hate the fact that they were born Black.
  10. It’s the same Lonestar Showdown we had with A&M before they left. Don’t play dumb.
  11. Who signs up for a rival’s message board to constantly shit on their program though?
  12. I’m traveling back to America on Tuesday from Europe so I’ll see what happens with my phone. I should probably delete the dick pics beforehand… you know, just in case
  13. I have a soft spot for Tech because i went there for 2 years before transferring to UT. Tech is doing what they need to do to be relevant because they feel they should always be in the same conference as Texas and A&M. If that’s the thing that finally gets tech to thro buku bucks at sports and finally act like a real athletic department, then how can any non-tech fan be mad at that? I’d rather have tech have success than A&M because tech fans won’t be dicks about it. So my message to tech is this:
  14. No one had their feelings hurt; however, many people questioned why you tend to ignore legit questions to your misguided replies.
  15. Ahh yes, the one thins from years ago Sack just can’t seem to let go of and when he has nothing he brings it up to try and get a rise of the other radical right wingers in here.
  16. Frisco was fine. In the late 90s, early 2000s, Frisco High was in the same district as Gainesville. We would routinely beat them in everything because, well, we had athletes and they had lanky white dudes. Well, my senior year (99-00), for the first time, Frisco High had Blacks on their team. We were Gainesville so we had Blacks always, granted we were a bit country, but we were still athletic nonetheless. It was also the first year they opened their new high school and had plans to build a 2nd. Goin to Frisco my Fresh, Soph, and Junior years compared to my Senior year was crazy nuts. It was like that city exploded overnight. Frisco attracted the White Flight folks from Dallas, Plano, Lewisville, The Colony, etc. And now, even Lewisville and Flower Mound, which used to be the “it” burbs of Dallas, are finding themselves playing second and third fiddle to Frisco, Prosper, Melissa, and Celina. Hell, even Little Elm started getting Blacks moving in there. Yes, there are a few of the old guard Whites still in Frisco, but nothing like it was before. That is why this incident was surprising to me.
  17. because they don’t’ want their true moniker connected to how they really feel for fear of some sort of retribution. I’ve said before, there are parts of our fanbase that are no different from A&M, and this is one of those areas. It’s funny those people ridicule others for not being “manly” or “man enough” yet here they are using an alternative name to post their true thoughts.
  18. Agreed I honestly don’t care about players transferring. You’re a grown ass adult, you can do whatever you want. You want to leave your job at Dell and go to Apple? Do it! It’s your life! I think the people getting upset are those whose team it impacts when that player leaves. Also, people’s pride gets damaged because “how could you leave my university?!?! Everyone loves my university, why don’t you???”
