  1. Power has been rolling Northwest Harris County somewhat consistently at 1 off 4 on still no water filled a couple of coolers with snow/Ice and am catching run off from the roof to fill the tubs. Tomball’s water supply is messed up, lots of wells with frozen small parts and chlorine injectors. Tomball ER is closed due to a massive water leak from burst pipes, we got a call that a nursing home had swiftly rising water this morning due to burst pipes. I feel bad for a lot of people who have been without power this whole time especially ones in older/lower income homes. We made a call Monday for multiple CO poisonings, people burning in their homes just to keep their families warm.
  2. Higher level info contacted centerpoint who advised this was going to be rolling blackouts 15-45 minutes came from our city manager so maybe he has better access even he is skeptical
  3. And power cut out at 9pm in tomball just came back on 20 mins later
  4. Pretty much all of Tomball just went out again
  5. I’ll say another thing there’s enough of a layer of ice on the roads that a 60k pound truck isn’t cracking it at all

  7. Tomball still pretty much entirely without power as a whole
  8. City manager is on the line with centerpoint trying to find out if this is a blackout or what 2.5 hours now
  9. I’m on duty for Tomball Fire been without power for 2 hours and dispatch’s emergency generator is down looks like an arctic wasteland out here, I’m hearing it’s the majority of the city.
  10. Just walked outside it’s 30 degrees and was pouring cold rain which promptly froze immediately upon impact.
  11. Super light snow in tomball roads are getting funky

  14. Lol Khou guy said Monday morning 30 mph sustained winds 18 degrees, snow and sleet should be an interesting day at the fire department.
  15. So I’m on duty Monday.....what’s this looking like a little northwest of Houston? Light snow? Ice? Or something that may actually be significant?
  16. Lol totally agree but the addition of people in a crowded place I’d think would amplify the risk regardless
  17. Still a higher risk of gunfire in public I’d think also probably harder to catch him by surprise
  18. Probably so they don’t start a gun battle in the grocery store or deal with hostages.
  19. Also I’ve had quite a few vaccines including anthrax this one left me way more sore at the injection site than anything else and asking around this was pretty common
  20. Second shot Jan 30, I’m a first responder it knocked about half our guys down for a day with some pretty severe flu like symptoms including some decent fevers including me, but I guess it couldn’t of came sooner because one of the people I worked with on a 48 hour shift ended up testing positive the same day of my second shot.
  21. That concussion is brutal if he got it from that light of impact he’s gonna be prone to more for sure
