Dirty Al's - 2 👎 not terrible, but very mediocre. maybe a bad night? would not return.
WannaWanna - 2 👍 and 🤘 bartender had Longhorn tattooed on inner wrist 😁 i'm getting one of those! lol
Arturo's (Progresso) - 2👍on a hot humid day...GREAT rest stop! margs are lit!
Wife and I always loved Arturo's. Haven't been south for ages. Between Covid and the threat of cartel violence, it will probably be much longer.

Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries. Carryover from the original series.
Fun show to watch with a female.
Main character is nice to look at.
Also recommend Agatha Raisin.
Both on Acorn TV.Enjoyed Agatha Raisin. No Offence is another good one. Joanna Scanlan is a very good comedic actress.
Now watching "New Zealand's Midsommer Murders" The Brokenwood Mysteries.

"Your mom is a special lady and you promised her a video call on her special day." I actually dislike all ATT's commercials showing cable internet preventing/delaying/corrupting transmissions. I have cable internet and it is many, many times faster than the only ATT product available to me (DSL) and many people. Most of us don't live in a gigabyte area (ATT or Google.) This commercial grates on me anyway in that a mother would be so petty and the son so stupid he wouldn't call and explain. I do, however, identify with the dad, making the best of the situation.

This legislation would be reversed if a shitload of black and brown people start open carrying without a license.
Anybody you see bragging about this legislation, point out to them that it means poor people, including a lot of minorities, will now be able to open carry. See what their reaction is. If they are enthusiastic, then they are true 2A fans. If they start backing off, then they are possibly racist.

Not knowing the pledge to Own the Libs!
The trump flags on fences gradually fraying and falling apart is the chef’s kiss to see when you drive by in the county.
On a trip to the coast and back, fewer Trump 2020 flags, but some new Trump Country flags have popped up. Pickup at the corner of SH 136 and FM 188 now has some Trump 2024 flags for sale.

Anyone else have trouble streaming Apple TV plus on their Roku? Wife got a new IPhone and the resulting one year of free Apple TV Plus. I can run it on all my devices except the television through Roku. My Roku is listed as compatible and I have tried all the suggestions I found on the web. I have to play it on my computer with my Windows 10 connect to my Roku, which is a bit of a pain, as the computer is in another room, which gives control issues.

Currently re-reading Conan Doyle's The Complete Sherlock Holmes. I first read it in late elementary or early jr. high school. I find it as easy a read and as interesting as then. I was prompted after watching Sherlock on Netflix, and recognized some of the names, but the stories seemed not the same, so I decided to return to the originals.

Last month, I got an email from ATT saying because they were upgrading their wireless system and I had an old IPhone (5) that couldn't use the system, they would ship me a new IPhone for free. I tried the ATT text help line, but the hirelings there didn't know anything about it. Unfortunately I deleted the original email and cannot find it. The email indicated my old IPhone version and its number, which did lend credence to the contact.
Last week, I got a notification that ATT has shipped me an IPhone SE 2020 64 GB. The USPS tracking number shows something is indeed on its way.
Has anyone else been notified about this? I know I'm not the only one who doesn't upgrade with each new version.

Lately, my go to has been an Avacado Bacon Burger, with extra meat and grilled onions and peppers. Tasty.

Britbox comments seeping into Amazon Prime thread. If you are even a casual fan of Shakespeare and like British comedy, Upstart Crow is excellent. Many references to the Bard's better known works, plus mocking our current societal conditions, some subtle, often not.

I had to switch over to purchasing Britbox to watch Inspector Morse. That site is a treasure trove of great shows and movies though. I think it is 7.99 a month for it. Well worth it in my opinion. I gotta thank @Brothahornfor the recommendation on this show. I will also watch Inspector Lewis once I am done.
Lots of good British mysteries and comedies there.

I am enjoying Criminal: United Kingdom. It's just interrogations of suspects/persons of interest. Detectives also talk strategy outside the room. My wife likes it a lot as she likes detective shows, but hates those with a lot of violence.

Follow up on my frozen outside tap. I tried several buckets of water to no avail. I used a hair dryer inside the garage (opened up some of the sheet rock) and on the tap itself. Still no luck Left it open and opened some inside for pressure release, and after a couple of hours of warming temperatures, it started flowing naturally. Turned off, it has a very slight drip. Will replace packing washer per bongos rec. Thanks, all.
Will be team drip next go around.

This happened to my Dad. Ended up being an old cover and water must have got trapped in the cover at some point. I chipped the excess off and then covered with a towel and poured boiling water to defreeze. Flowed fine after a bit, no leaks. Good luck.
Opened some inside taps. Removed cover. Poured room temp water on till ice pack gone, plus a couple of other buckets. Opened tap. No dribble or stream yet. Watching and waiting. No indications inside or outside of house of leaks, yet.

I like the fact that a lot of the HEB/HCF brand salad dressings aren't made with HFCS.
