Yes actually. The current science says that you lessen the chances of allergy by introducing peanut butter to your child at an early age. Highest risk infants should try  peanut butter as early as 4-6 months.

We did that. They really liked the tiny doses at breakfasts. Several breakfasts later, and then even a few hours after, the vomiting started. Within a minute of each other, they woke up from naps to puke in their cribs in different rooms. Baffled, we tried again. The 2nd time was ugly enough to make the wife insist we go to ER... Over the next few months, allergy tests indicated they're not allergic to peanuts, but apparently they are intolerant of the protein. They're expected to grow out of it around 2, so we get to play vomit roulette soon. No family history of any food allergies.

Nope. Good possession receiver. Good athlete. No separation. I’m not taking up for our shit coaches. But Collin’s issues aren’t coaching. They are, for example, that he’s nowhere near the talent that Eagles is, yet gets hyped as such.

Think he can beat any of LJH's combine numbers?

If I was good enough to play for Texas I wouldn't transfer even if David McWilliams was coaching the offense, John Mackovic was coaching the defense, and Charlie Strong was the coin flip coach.

    But you do you.

"I don't have any doubt that Charlie is a fine coach. I think he would make a great position coach, maybe a coin flip coordinator"

This is going to be the death of college football (and basketball).  I actually agree it's not right for kids to not be able to profit from their own name and Image. But it's one thing to pay the student athletes a living wage. It's another to make some kids millionaires and have a defacto bidding war for top talent.  It's going to turn it into NFL lite.  On the plus side, Texas will probably wind up on the right side of the chasm that will exist between top tier programs and everyone else.  Sadly, I already feel myself losing interest.

There already ARE defacto bidding wars for many of the top players. The bag men are just good at keeping it secret. Did you lose interest when Auburn bought Cam Newton?

  5. Did he hit too close to home or something? What was so disagreeable?

At this point, Obama's words are like classical music compared to Trump's, which are more like someone struggling to unclog a toilet.

  6. Try Super Simple Songs on Amazon prime video or equivalent. My girls are nearly 2 and are still relatively indifferent to Sesame Street because there's too much talking. Singing and dancing cartoons or puppets or nursery rhymes will captivate them for longer than i care to admit.

There's a reason he was working in Sacramento.

Good Day Sacramento features reporter fired after damaging auto show cars on-air

CBS Sacramento 13 fired features reporter Angel Cardenas following major backlash after a live on-air segment showed Angel damaging classic cars and jumping on an exhibition vehicle before the Sacramento International Auto Show, a three-day auto show held at Cal Expo every year, opened to the public.

CBS Sacramento deleted the video after a public outcry on social media from car enthusiasts and Sacramento residents but fortunately, several news viewers took it upon themselves to DVR the news, sharing that deleted segment on Facebook.

He's waaay too old to be that fucking stupid.

  8. Adjusted stats rank the defense #51, identical to Strong's 3rd and final season. 7-5 looks like the most likely finish to the regular season, with a close win over KSt, a TCU-like loss @ISU, a close loss @BU, and a relatively easy win over Tech (narrator: it won't be easy). I want Herman to make some moves, but I don't expect him to and I assume he'll go into next year on the hot seat continuing to preach continuity in bad systems.

I agree, but I can't really decide why it is that LHN = Underperforming Marquee Sports, but it sure seems like that is the equation. Same thing goes for the NFL in Houston. As long as the Oilers and Texans have played second fiddle to the Rodeo in the Astrodome and Reliant, neither has gone to the Super Bowl. Is correlation causation? I believe so but I can't articulate why.

Because we ask our million+ dollar coaches and best players to waste time doing TV shows every week with twats like gallindo that 17 people will actually watch? Just guessing.

    Bullshit.

Was it a dumb thing to do? Sure.

Did he deserve to get shot? No.

America really is fucked up when it comes to guns.

Other countries do warn their residents that they may get shot if they visit here. Moose out front...

The right thing to do was to call the cops and stay inside. On the other hand, this is way more defensible than what Guyger did. So who knows what the cops would've done to poor werewolf.

    Darwin, still unbeaten.

So, let me get this straight, the time when the mrs. is getting baby fever, stocking up on pregnancy tests, ovulation checkers, pre-natal vitamins, and hiring an interior decorator to come up with two completely different designs for the nursery, this is when I’m supposed to quit drinking bourbon?  Do I have that right?

Then the big day has finally arrived -- you get to blow that magical load you've been saving while avoiding alcohol, hot tubs, laptops, porn, weed, sugar, milk, underwear, prescription drugs, etc, etc (did I miss anything?) for... Later you find out she's not pregnant, so now you get to wonder if your shit even works, and fuck you, you still can't take the edge off. Is there a study showing what stress does to sperm?

we have a friend who saw it happen.  she said she saw the dad holding the child's hand, let go of it to reach for something (sunscreen?) and the next thing she saw was the child darting away from the dad.  unspeakable tragedy.

    Fuck.

That settles it. I'll continue to carry my 22 month old twins through parking lots until they're 18.
