  1. Said without a hint of irony? resident silver stacker has spoken
  2. Yes but it won’t be massive. Unless I’m mistaken, the presidential draw down authority for fiscal 2025 wasn’t increased so it’s just $100M. Biden pretty much blew his whole load at the end of September (end of fiscal 24) with $5.5B … it’s unclear to me how they scraped together another $425M in October. It’s also unclear to me how much of what’s been promised since September will actually get delivered before the Trump gets in and how much of it he’ll be able to cancel, if he chooses to, like a stupid piece of shit.
  3. This is one thing I’m comforted by. After all this time, they still only have concepts of plans. The republicans won’t even be able to agree on what to prioritize. Even if they get the house too, they pass maybe 1 piece of legislation before they lose a branch in 2026. They’d fucking BETTER address the border, right? They won’t. They’d lose their wedge issue. You’ll get executive orders and dysfunction and you’ll blame the RINOs and minority Dems.
  4. What, this sort of flag hanging from a house in your neighborhood is offensive? You must not be as devout a Christian as they are, pussy.
  5. Fun game! While we’re wishing for things republicans have previously proposed that will never happen, i wish for a phased-in balanced budget, congressional term limits, and suppressors to no longer be NFA items.
  6. I assume @Incredulity has a solid rebuttal since the scientists are still hotly debating this.
  7. If you’re any of those, aren’t you inherently more likely to be all of them? All the MAGA guys I know today are racist in the right company, definitely sexist, and they vote for the same wannabe fasciat that actual American nazis vote for… some of them aren’t dumb though, so I’ll concede the point.
  8. Huh? If they can vote, I don’t think they’re getting deported…
  9. His only stated economic policies are tariffs and deportation. We’re also due for significant federal spending cuts or at least a normal recession so… stagflation with Trump behind the wheel? Should be fun…
  10. Inflation bad. Life hard. Need new president
  11. There were also 6M fewer Americans in 2020
  12. That covidstimulus the dems passed early in Bidens term, shortly after trumps stimulus, was clearly a mistake. Who knows how much it actually impacted the headline inflation, but it eliminated deniability.
  13. Good thing tariffs on China and Mexico will increase inflation, bring low skill minimum wage manufacturing jobs back to America that none of us want, further separate our economy from china’s (increasing the odds of a Taiwan strike) and increase political pressure for Mexico to resist being our manufacturing center… right? Tariffs will make homes affordable on a high school education again right?!
  14. New site motto?
  15. That’s .. not interesting at all.
  16. I do think it’s this simple. There was pent up demand to cross that had been stifled by some of trumps inhumane policies. These people are desperate so they took their shot once Biden got in. Border crossings therefore went from ok to really bad. Doesn’t matter why. The cartels flying drones across our border constantly now probably scares the shit out of a lot of people too.
  17. Are you here to discuss anything or just shit post?
  18. If we assume this result on the border was about policies, Biden’s border policy wasn’t a surprise… so it was about abortion?
  19. mostly accused him of not openly hating trans people. Which is not ok, obv
  20. This is a dark post but this shit got me
  21. You think that’s the approach? no matter what the US doesn’t do to support Ukraine, Russia still has an inflation problem, a manpower problem, and an equipment problem. If Europe steps their game up, Ukraine still has this.
  22. I feel like @ulukinatme has a pretty long post history suggesting he’s not a “fascist fuck” … we’re all shattered but it’s not the time to turn on each other.
  23. Is there any path for abortion to get on the ballot in Texas like it has in so many other states? What would it require?
