  1. Went over Easter Weekend with the family (girls 9 and 12 and these places all had options they liked, but they also like food), parades were really fun with the kids, and noticed most bard sell THC seltzers now. We ate at: Acme - I know it is not the best oyster in town, but it is my traditional first stop in the quarter for grilled oysters. (Things we ate, Chargrilled Oysters, Boo Fries, Peace Maker Po-Boy, Oyster Po-Boy, Shrimp Po-Boy) Cafe Du Monde - I think the beignets are overrated but you can’t deny the kids the powdered sugar rush.n (Beignets) Central Grocery - So glad they are opened again, getting a Muffuletta and walking over to the water to eat lunch is always a treat. (Muffuletta) Lillette - Had not been here before, it was really really good. We sat inside but the evening was really nice and in hindsight I wish we had sat on the patio. (Raw East coast oysters, Potato Gnocchi, Hearts of Palm salad, Hanger Steak, Kobe Burger, Braised Lamb Shoulder) Saint John - Everything we ate here was really good, however we went a little early (6:30) and there were only 2 other tables seated. Based on how that place is layed out it made it really quiet and a weird atmosphere, I am sure when it is busy it is much more fun. (Gumbo, Oysters Saint John, Baked Macaroni Pie, Charred Okra, Redfish Meunière, Shrimp Yassa, Creole Beef Daube) Luke - This was a brunch meal which is what I prefer there. The Trout Almandine was fantastic. (Gulf Oysters, Cast Iron Cinnamon Roll, Croque Monsieur, Trout Amandine, Green Tomato Benedict, Chicken and Waffles) Brennen’s - We went for Easter Brunch between the parades, I had not been in a really long time. They were on point for Easter and of course Banana’s foster before noon is amazing. (Turtle Soup, Gumbo, Strawberry Trifle, Eggs Hussarde, Eggs Sardou, Bananas Foster) Mr. B’s - Classic, easy, dependable, (Duck Springrolls, Gumbo Ya Ya, Corn and Crab soup, BBQ Shrimp, Bacon wrapped Shrimp and grits, Pasta Jambalaya, Soft Shell Crab)

Nothing is passed yet, SB3 has been largely subbed to a new bill that is different, in reading the substitute bill a few things: No Synthetics - I am ok with this, the Delta 8 and all the other weird synthetics we really don’t understand those. No Vapes - I personally don’t care, but this is causing a lot of angst in the community. No Flower - this is the big one, they are changing the way to calculate THC to AFTER decarb, this “fixes” the Fam Bill loophole that is allowing flower sales today. Edibles and Drinks - OK, however at least the drink portion (and maybe the edible) moves to control by TABC. We all know what a shit organization that is. This bill will likely be voted on house floor in the next two weeks, since it is a substitute bill it will need to go back to the senate for a vote or a conference committee. It is May 3rd now, session ends June 2nd, but realistically they have roughly 3 weeks left to get this passed both houses due to deadlines. Hopefully they run out of time….

  9. So most of those devices come ready for propane not natural gas (and the reverse is true for indoor appliances like a gas dryers and stoves). The cooking device itself needs a conversion kit from propane to natural gas, you will need to research the model you have to get the right kit.
