Pretty good storm coming right at us in Las Colinas right now. Severe T-Storm Warning for Northern Ellis & Johnson Counties. Pretty sure they'll extend it to include my office at George Bush & Macarthur. Looks like nighttime outside my window right now.
Thanks for sharing. I'm fascinated with weather in general, but specifically tornadoes. I grew up in Taylor and the day of the '97 Jarrell tornado we were packing up our house to move to DFW. I was 14 at the time and remember watching the coverage on TV. My grandpa grew up in Jarrell and lived in Cedar Park at that time about a mile from where the other one tore up the Albertson's. This storm is so fascinating on many levels.
I'm a big fan of both Coming to America & Robin Hood Men in Tights, but those seem to be popular opinions.
Unpopular:
I don't like Pearl Jam
I like Chili's
I enjoy thick women like Vic. Hell I married one (no pics)
I'd like to see the meteorological history of the Jarrell tornado in '97. Not the aftermath, which several media outlets have chronicled. I'd like to see an explanation of the rarities and anomalies associated with the storm, some of which we may never see again in our lifetime. I've read a lot about it but a documentary that explained it would be pretty fascinating.
My wife and I spank (the kids, not each other) as needed. The 6 yo boy rarely needs it but the 2 yo boy always does. We tapered down the spanking of the 2 yo though since he started hitting himself when he gets in trouble.
But if he hits my wife or me he gets another spanking.
Yeah The Natural & Field of Dreams go without saying. So does The Sandlot. Little Big League Rookie of the Year Summer Catch (hi Jessica Biel) The Babe Cobb 2011 World Series Game 6 (wait, that wasn't just a movie with a bad ending? Damn.)
That's fair. The High Life in the pic was only my 2nd alcoholic drink of the evening. Normally when I make the naoch I'm more than 8 drinks in and the effort is much more lacking. That being said, individual naoches are bad ass.
