  1. Keep in mind that under the Trump tax laws, relocation allowances are now considered taxable income so you need to make sure your employer grosses up the allowance. A relo from AZ to Houston earlier this year cost about $20k and my employer gave me around $30k.

Back to the Luke P deal, I was totally on his side when he said (paraphrase).. if you've had sex with any of these guys, I'm out.  If you're in love with a woman and getting ready to propose, it's a deal breaker if she's fucking another dude the week of, no?  He got a bad rap.

She was garbage. Hated all the hens in the audience cheering her on.  Fucking boo.

The problem there is he knew what he signed up for. It’s fine to feel that way, but don’t go on The Bachelor or Bachelorette if that’s going to be a deal breaker for you. It’s not like this show is a new concept or known to be the pinnacle of fundamental Christianity.

Looks identical to mine. It’s a complete POS. Can’t drive more than ten minutes without getting an error code. If I took it in every single time a get an error warning, I would have to quit my job. Hope you have better luck.

Lowest “low” forecasted for Phoenix for the next 10 days: 88.

And “dry heat” my ass. When it’s 115 and your car has been parked in the sun for a few hours, “dry” doesn’t matter.

Why the fuck would you park your car in the sun in the middle of summer? I lived in Phoenix for 17 years and never had to park my car in the sun. Just about everything you need has a covered parking option.

  5. How tall are you? I’ve driven a ton of Q50s as rental cars (actually totaled one in Houston when a red light runner t-boned me) and have never been able to get a comfortable seat position. I’m only 6’2 but I’ve never been able to get the seat back far enough so that my right knee isn’t hitting the dash or low enough that my head isn’t scraping the roof.

I get that there is a deductible and coinsurance, but not sure why this would matter to the hospital. They already got their insurance money. On top of all that, as I stated earlier, I ain’t got any money and am living in a van down by the river. So, they should take what they can get. Of course, I don’t want to damage my excellent credit either.

That’s where you’re wrong. Your deductible and coinsurance means that they haven’t gotten their money. Use this example assuming you signed up for an insurance policy and agreed to a $2k deductible and 20% coinsurance:

    Hospital Bill: $10,000

Rate that your insurance company has prenegotiated on your behalf: $4,000

Insurance cuts a check for the negotiated rate less your deductible and coinsurance: $1,200

Hospital discounts the bill by $6,000 and bills you for $2,800. These are amounts you agreed to pay when you purchased the policy. I get that healthcare in this country is expensive, but would you expect the body shop to give you your car back after a repair if you refused to pay your $1,000 collision deductible?

Replace the battery in the key fob, unless it does that with the secondary fob as well. Some models actually use inductive rechargeable keyfobs but you'd probably know that and would have charged it by now.

Yeah, the charge isn’t the problem. It’s the piece of shit electronics in this car. It still starts. It just gives the error and then won’t lock when you turn the car off without starting it and turning it off a couple of times.

yes, let's indeed hope that i have better luck than you.

    all that sucks.

Latest quirk is that ever time I get in the car I get an error message saying it doesn’t recognize the key. And the weather stripping is already coming off the driver side rear door after 1300 miles. This is my 6th BMW, but my first SUV. I may be going back to a sedan faster than I thought.

I doubt it.  They know they're going to get away with it.    These are the same people who were led by Joe Arpaio for years.  And, hell, he was pardoned.  They have no reason to believe they'll ever be held accountable for anythng.

Arpaio was the Sheriff. This is a different department. The Phoenix chief is pretty no bullshit. I bet she takes care of these pieces of shit.

well, it's done.  dealer said they've been getting south carolina cars (x5) in 3-4 weeks of late so we will see how they do on this one.

Hope you have better luck than me. Took Momentum BMW 2.5 months to get me mine. On top of that, all the new technology stuff is really finicky. Mine has already been in the shop three times getting electronic stuff repaired. The latest was they had to replace one of the cameras. Love my X5 when it works, but I should have waited to get it after they worked the kinks out.

Sure. Don’t know how that relates to the percentage of ticket deposits who convert to actual tickets.

Pointing out that they could convert 22k and still have tens of thousands of seats to sell. Austin FC doesn’t even have 22k seats to sell.

Atlanta converted 22,000 of the 31,000 deposits they got in the first few months.

They also have a slightly larger stadium.

Has anyone tried to fly transatlantic on American in the past 2 weeks?  Or does anyone have plans/tickets for transatlantic the next 2 months?

All hell is breaking loose from the mechanics going scorched earth after AA sued the union.

Was flying out of PHX to PDX yesterday and the flight was canceled for maintenance while the aircraft was in the air inbound from ORD. It was a mess at Sky Harbor with multiple maintenance cancellations.
