I will never understand why y’all implore wulaw to go show up at the polls and cancel out your vote. You do you but I’m not saying shit to anyone I’m not 100% sure is voting the same as me til after it’s too late for them to vote. Wait til next Wednesday to give him shit, but shut the fuck up about it til then.

I get what you're saying. I totally do, but you may have missed my point of asking does anyone pay attention to his endless diarrhea of super intelligent posts?

My point was who the fuck reads his endless drivel of prognostication when he's obviously dumber than a box of used tampons? The dude doesn't understand the basic principles of democracy. This isn't sports handicapping and the only race isn't at the top of the ticket. Then again, this is the guy who turned an RV into a convertible and currently owns a fast depreciating asset that lives somewhere in New England. He seems like the perfect moron to take care of all my mortgage needs.

  2. Am I the only one who very quickly scrolls through every one of @Wulaw Horn's posts on the political threads? How is anyone interested in his mental masturbation while he acts pious for being some sort of conscientious objector? Take a stand and vote. If you don't vote in an election, you're a coward plain and simple. Take a stand. Standing on the sidelines isn't a stand.

Posting more videos of her public speaking and spreading those on social media might be a good idea then...

Yeah, I don't do social media so I wouldn't be very effective at that. I do give substantially to down ballot races and volunteer my time for GOTV efforts and races of importance to me so I do a lot more than the average voter.

She took that tack in this rant on Friday, which was pretty good I thought.  She needs to get it out via more than Twitter though.

I was at a rally yesterday afternoon before starting a volunteer shift for Sima's campaign. Both Sima and MJ spoke at the rally. I was really, really impressed by how well MJ spoke and how she articulated why Cornyn must go and why down ballot races matter. It's sort of frustrating to see since her media doesn't match the charisma she has in public speaking.

Maricopa is huge.  It's not like Dallas County or Travis County.  It includes not just Phoenix, but also all of Phoenix's suburbs (along with a fair amount of absolute nothing).  Apache and Coconino (Tuscon and Flagstaff, respectively) will go Democratic by large enough margins that it cancels out the rest of the state, which will go largely Republican (in particular Pinal County, which includes Phoenix's far-southwestern exurbs).

That pretty much leaves Maricopa as the deciding county.

Pinal isn't just Phoenix's exurbs. It fully has about 500k people to the south and southeast of Maricopa County. It's the third largest county in AZ behind Maricopa and Pima.

Yeah- it’s not my side as I’ve voted against trump every time I’ve been presented with a ballot with him on it and will continue to do so. But I’m not partisan so I don’t have a “side” in that sense. But 80 or 82% of this country (pew’s got pretty cool numbers on that) is a rank partisan and never going to not. It’s for their team. If you hold true p to 40-43% of the vote that’s a massive repudiation. Basically it means e regime persuadable has been persuaded. Which is pretty cool to me and speaks of decency in this country.

I thought you were on record saying that you you're not voting this election?

  7. As a native Austinite that moved away 20 years ago and had the opportunity to move back last year and chose instead to move to Houston, I don't regret the decision one bit. I'm in Austin almost every week for work or to visit family and it's a complete beating. Even more of a beating are the people who have moved there recently and proclaim it to be some sort of utopia. It's not. It lost its soul years ago and it's just like any other big city in TX with even worse traffic and overpriced real estate.

This. Honestly, if she wants a sedan, just get a model 3.

Agreed. The Model S is getting long in the tooth. It's getting so old that it's beginning to look like a Crown Vic.

Upon reading the OP,  my thought was "I'll bet dumpsters in TX are cheaper than out here".  Upon reading ROFL's post, 'WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK THAT'S STUPID EXPENSIVE FOR A DUMPSTER!!!

Actually, it's only a bit higher that out here.   I've found that calling a craigslist guy is cheaper.  Two mexicans with a POS Chevy truck and an old trailer with bald tires show up, load everything up, and haul it away for a couple hundred. (at least that's my experience)   Much better deal than a dumpster.   Try that.

This. I posted a junk haul away job on Thumbtack last year. Within 30 minutes,  there was a dude at my house with a truck and trailer. Filled that thing up with all the junk that we had moved into the garage and was out of there. Paid him $150 as I recall.
