  1. that and our top 2 going 2-7-1 vs their top 2 Rory/Rahm going 6-3-1 made it such that down the order for Europe didn't matter much.
  2. yes to bolded and rain helped even more. #2 is the English Morikawa pairing twice.
  3. this is interesting from the twitter above. the first day euros won 26 holes with 16 of those being Euros in the rough and US in the fairway.
  4. oh jesus, our guys must be more fragile than I thought.
  5. Our guys weren't gassed on Sunday? Europe won but Donalds butt cheeks were puckered big time until Henley missed the putt. The rain did make it easier on the short game(not Keegans fault) and cutting the rough was stupid(analytics). Morikawa halved his match but I agree the English/Morikawa fuck up is all on Bradley. even though Spaun wasn't great I would have played him and Young but there is probably something to do with type of ball in 4somes.
  6. come on. Prime Brady, Rodgers, Montana at least win a super bowl(and probably win) the last 20+ years here. not sure on Aikman/Manning but i'd say a 60-70% shot. They win because they were some of the most clutch QB's in the history of the sport. Romo/Dak not so clutch.
  7. it is still in comparison to all other D's in the league who also "feast on bad teams". you and Drew act like it is just the Cowboys who "feast on bad teams". when Dak has a running game he's a top 10 QB in the league pretty consistently. Dak and Romo were and are QB's you can get to a Super Bowl with but you need a consistently very good D to get there because they tend to have a WTF game every so often. they aren't going to Aaron Rodgers you to a super bowl win. check 2011 Green bay #1 in offensive points/#3 in yards, Defense #19 in points/#32 in yards.
  8. yep. many years probably means since 1992 but would be interesting to know when they last ran it. easy cover "we can't say 33 years, we can't say few or number, what do we do?" "Let's say many"
  9. where was all that when the US team torched them in 2021? Bradley said that analytics actually told them to cut down the rough. so they are using analytics and it was a dumb move. there is so much BS with this. where were the analytics on Sunday when they got roasted? they putted like shit on Friday, their scoring irons were not good either. Most of Saturday they putted bad also. Burns is one of the best putters on tour and he sucked. It really isn't that complicated. the US team chokes because they generally get out short gamed in this event. On top of that we had rookies who just face planted on Friday/Sat and Morikawa who really shouldn't have been on the team but he was #8 and a vet. I've been very critical of the English/Morikawa pairing in foursomes and that could have been the difference but that is the only egregious mistake I see. Donald just chose the same team he had in Italy. He isn't some genius. their guys made putts(Rose in particular was out of his mind) and were overall better with shorter irons Friday and Saturday. They hit balls inside us all weekend, made putts on top of us, etc. Europe has some great golfers with experience. we have guys who choke, generally. other than foursomes you are playing your own ball.
  10. I'd like to see things like the casing comparison, the original docs from El paso and suicide showing the same number. maybe they have the .380 but I would have assumed they would have already done a ballistics test to compare bullets lands/grooves(if they have a bullet from the yogurt shop).
  11. Do they have the .380 gun or did something happen to it after the suicide?
  12. any injuries to report? That is about all these things are good for
  13. in our office we've called this "Goreville" for the past couple of decades.
  14. yes I do understand. It is a directional data point in a situation like this.
  15. I'd like to add that it is a fucking crime that Darren Woodson isn't in the Hall of Fame.
  16. thanks event total europe had 7 of top 10 in strokes gained putting. europe had 4 of the top 5, US had 4 of the bottom 5. US had 6 of the top 10 in stroked gained approach(better than I expected but...) Sunday singles US had 6 of top 10 in strokes gained putting US had 7 of top 10 in Strokes gained approach they murdered us putting Friday foursomes and Saturday fourballs. the other 2 Friday/Sat sessions were about even putting.
  17. yep, just complete incompetence. It is crazy that they gave the gun to Brahsers father. If they had just stowed it away in an evidence room in El Paso or wherever, he couldn't have used it in the kentucky cold case or the suicide and we'd never know.
  18. It's not a bike lane fetish, it's the "make using the internal combustion engine as painful as possible" fetish. "if you care so much about vehicle traffic why not take the train, bus, walk or bike" - city council member who drives to work
  19. Brashers could have been in the creek that night, ya know. hangin' with his high school buddies from Anderson.
  20. There is a border checkpoint between Texas and New Mexico? I get we are our own country but didn't know this.
  21. agreed. I will say this though, in Dak's 10 years he's had 5 D's in the top 10 in points. Romo's 10 years, exactly 1, #2 2009(they were usually mid teens or lower). I realize points isn't the be all end all for a defense but it shows you generally what Romo was dealing with. Dak's had to deal with it also but not nearly as much as Romo, IMO. They both seem to lack the "truly clutch" gene where they can overcome Jerruh's stupidity as it relates to D. they have had clutch moments but in the biggest games it just didn't happen. for comparison, 1991-1999, Aikman had a top 5 D in points, 7 out of 9 years. TLDR: Defense wins championships, Defense with very good offense beats the Bills 52-17.
  22. saw this in an article on the press conference. If they have record of all this, then it's him. “Less than 48 hours after the murders, he was stopped by Border Patrol agents,” Jackson said. The agents ran his plates and found that the car driven by Brashers was stolen, and also seized a .380 pistol from him during the stop. However, Brashers fled from the agents. The gun was later released to Brashers’ father. On Jan. 13, 1999, Brashers killed himself with the same handgun. After Brashers died, he was linked to several other murders across the US. during the 1990s, Jackson explained. Jackson also spoke about the initial arrests in the case, the court cases, and how DNA evidence cleared those initial suspects. When he took over the case, Jackson said he reviewed all of the available evidence. He learned that the .380 casing wasn’t entered into an certain national database. Some time after it was added, it was matched to a similar casing found by investigators in a 1998 Kentucky cold case.
  23. I will say Schott has the running game going decent. Dak(ask with most QB's) needs that, and more than ever now, since his mobility is below average for an NFL QB now. He's very good when he has that. Whether the O can drag this defense to anything more than 7 wins remains to be seen.
  24. the soft and slowerish greens after the rain were an advantage to the Euros. it helped them but the real issue is our guys choke putting A LOT for many years now. when the greens are faster the putting advantage to the Euros is minimized a bit, IMO. I also think we did not adjust, especially the first day, our scoring irons/wedges to the softness of the green. we were spinning shit off the green or too much spin a lot. The Euros did a better job adjusting, IMO. I'd like to see the proximity stats but I'm not sure where to get them.
